I just got a new phone, and its a nextel i730, And i want to know if it has text message cause i read the instructions but it doesn't say anything about it, so can you please tell me if it does, and how to use it. If it doesn't have text how can i get it? thanks alot, i'll rate high

And if you still don't see anything about it... then I'd suggest you call the Nextel Company and ask them, because even if you do have text messaging, you might not have unlimited, so it'd cost money.. which your parents probably wouldn't like.. hope I helped!!
tyedyeprincess answered Thursday June 30 2005, 9:34 pm: it depends on the phone company. Some companies charge for a sum of messages a month(ie Verizon has 250 messages for 5 bucks/month).
