If 9th grade starts HS for where you live, it can be fun. My freshman year went by fast for me. It was really fun but freshmen usually get picked on by the upperclassmen alot.

Go to a place that will be the most fun for you. If you're into the big city.. try NYC or LA. If you wanna so somewhere with a lot of excitment, Orlando or LA has awesome theme parks. If you wanna go somewhere relaxing.. the Bahamas or Florida is fun. Have fun.=)

No, it's healthier for you than sun-tan or tanning beds because you're not exposed to harmful UV rays. it may not turn out as good, though so be careful to apply it evenly.

you can start with a few crunches a night and gradually add more each night. however, you have to do more than one (possibly 2+) ab workouts daily. Hula hoops are great because they work out the stomach muscles really well (havent you noticed hula dancers with their flat abs? aweeeeseome!!) and possibly another ab workout.

You should finish MIddle and High School and then focus on becoming an actress. If you don't and you go into acting first, the chances of you not becoming an actress arne't high. It would look better on your resumes if you finished High School and maybe even college.

Does anyone actually know why the Christina Aguilera/Chingy tour was cancelled? I was scheduled to go, and then the news stated that it had been cancelled. I heard that it's because Christina is undergoing a voice operation for more than 6 months. Is this the real reason? If anyone has any information, I'd love to hear it. Thanks tons. xox Mariah (link)

Christina strained her vocal chords so she can't go on tour. Trust me, with the time off she's getting.. she'll be back healither and will definitely make up the lost tour with an awesome show.

Okay, I'm only in the 8th grade but lately I've be thinking about my future and college. Well I've thought about it really hard and decide that I want to go to Yale University. The only problem is I don't know what requirments it takes to get excapted. Like how well do I have to do in grade school? What should my scores be? Any one who can give me any info would be great!

Do research. I started researching schools I would love to go to. Google is great and if your family is ever in a city that holds a college, you should visit it to see if you like it. You should especially start young so you have wide options. Picking a college that you can enjoy and go to graduate school is awesome.

Yeah, usually I give advice, but I figured I'd ask this time. Two of you have already seen this question, but I thought I'd just put it out here for the rest of you to help me with.
Okay, here it goes. I've found my DREAM college. I mean, this is what I've been searching for since, like, ninth grade. I'm almost certain I'd be accepted there.
Problem 1 - CalArts is in Southern California. Now, I live in michigan and my mom doesn't want me to go that far away.
Problem 2 - The tuition. $22,190. My dad doesn't have a job, my mom can't work, and I don't have a job yet. Even if I did, I wouldn't be able to make that much by next year. However, I do have books written, and could publish them, but even with that I'm not sure I'd be able to make the money.
Problem 3 - my parents both think that the only reason I want to go there is because my boyfriend's going to a college down there. That's not why I want to go.
So essentially, I'm wondering what you guys think. Should I try to get into a college my mom doesn't want me to go to, even though it's my dream school AND if I went there, I'd probably have somewhere to live? Help me out...

If you worked hard enough, you should be eligable for any scholarships. If not, apply for some. Good luck at college!
