i live in a racist family. i am not racist though. i have some black, asian, and indian friends also. they dont make comments in public, but in the privacy of our home. it truely bothers me when they say something mean and we've had arguements about this many times. my parents think its ok to talk trash about people if they're not there to hear it. i hate them for that. whenever i talk about my friends they joke around and tell me that if they come over they'll steal something of ours. i just want them to knock it off. if i try talking about it, they'll laugh at me like im kidding. they even tease me about having friends like that. one time i went out with a really nice asian guy and my brother kept going on and on. its so annoying. how can i tell them that its not fair to treat people this way? A lot of people that are "racist" are merely joking. They may say a lot of racially motivated jokes, and make comments that some people may find horribly offensive - but in all honesty, they're just words. To you it's not fair for them to treat people in the way that they do - but to them maybe it's not fair for you to treat them like they're doing something wrong. You thinking it's wrong is no more valid than they thinking it's right. And therefore you're just as wrong for telling them to stop as they are for doing it in the first place.
If you don't like the comments they make - either ignore it, go along with it, or tell them to stop.
If one doesn't work - go with another.
One of those three will work if you do it right, I assure you.

You may want to focus on just wearing hair.
I mean, if you go bald that's probably the only way you can mess up.
For how often women complain that men don't notice their hair - they sure seem to think that it's incredibly important to change it for them.

my friends and i can never think of things to do on the weekends. seeing movies is alright, but once youve seen the one or two good ones its pointless to go again, and the same goes for shopping i mean you can only go so many times and not see the same things and run out of money. what are some things that a bunch of 14 and 15 year old girls can do? Flash cards are an ineffective way of studying for tests.
Your short term memory can only hold up to 7+-2 things, and in order to be comitted to long term memory the thing needs to be repeated for 20+ seconds. And even if you did commit something from flash cards to long term memory, there is very little connected with that and it will be hard to recall.
Attempt to remember it in multiple ways or connect it with some other memory. Use something like the Loci Method (associating answers with objects in the room. For example to remember the "Open-Door Policy" think of the door of the room as the answer. Basically associating the answer (in a meaningful way) with something you can see (without it being considered cheating))
that will allow you to associate the answer with something else lodged into your long-term memory.

Personally, i'd get a Honda Civic. My father works with cars quite a bit and most mechanics around here say that for having such a large number of them around, relatively few of them ever need repairs. A teacher I had has owned three of them so far and managed to pull around 300,000 miles off of each before it could no longer run.
Warning: Foreign cars generally cost a lot more to fix.

What do you define as "hardcore shit"? I'll give you the stuff I listen to, which may not be 'hardcore' by your standards, but it's some of the only quality punk music i've found.
-Naked Raygun
-Black Flag
-Rancid
-Big Black (I think they are a bit more alternative than punk, but most people I know tend to disagree with me)
Those three are the main ones, nearly anything else I listen to you can probably find by looking up bands that those three have influenced.

You need one of the following...
-Pitch Pipe
-Piano (Or pretty much any other instrument that is tuned correctly)
-Guitar Tuner
-Anything that can produce a correct "E, A, D, G, and B" sound.
Using anything but the guitar tuner - play a note on that that corresponds with the note on your guitar. When they sound about the same (you will more than likely be able to hear it) then you are in tune on that string.
If you're unsure of what note each string plays open...
E - While holding the guitar as if you were playing it, this is the string closest to your head.
A
D
G
B
E - While holding the guitar... this is the string furthest from your head.
Using a guitar tuner, if you're using an electric guitar then you are usually able to just plug it in and play each note. Indicator lights or some other method of showing you if you are sharp or flat should be on there.

How are their beliefs different from the other Protestant sects..(ex: How are Baptists different from Presbyterians?..etc) How are they all different from the Catholic Church?

First you go down to your local town hall and ask for a eg445 form (that's at least the most common name for the form, I know that in some states they don't really have a name, if they don't know what an eg445 is - you may want to just explain what you want) then you fill that out and they file it for you and such. If anyone is interested you should get a phone call.

You can't generalize peoples likes and dislikes.
Some people will like it, some won't. Some people will find something wrong with everyone, but not everyone who won't like your dancing will be that way.
Why should it matter what others like though? It's not like people watch dancing.
