I'm guessing that your mom is just going through a midlife crisis. Don't worry about it its not you she's just going through a phase...menapause and can act really crazy and out of control. She doesn't mean half the things she says so don't let it get to you. It' not her fault her hormones are just acting up.

So my bestfriend is turning 17 Dec. 17th and I was planning on throwing him a suprise party. I already have everything all planned out and I already invited everyone! So everything is basically ready.
Well, last night his mom called me and told me that she didn't want me to throw him a party because she didn't want to pay for it. His parents are buying him a new car for his birthday since he had to get his older brothers car when he had first got his license. Since they were gettign the car, they don't want to speand any more money.
I told her that it wasn't a problem because I was going to pay for everything and she didn't have to worry about it. I was never even planning on asking then to pay for it.
Food isn't a problem because my mom already agreed to buy the food for us. Neither is alcohol becuase everyone always chips in to pay for that. And we already have decorations and stuff left over from past parites. And itisn't liek we have to pay for music.
I told her all of this and she still said she didn't want me to throw one becuase she'd fell like she was supposed to pay for it. How can I convince her that she doesn't and to let me throw him a party?? (link)

sorry, i didnt really know what to put this under.
right now i have a sprint pcs phone. the contract expires december 23rd and then my mom is going to change over to tmobile. i don't really adore the tmobile phones except for the razor phone. but, people say that the razor phone isn't a good phone because it's always breaking, etc. i really want a flip phone with a camera and i want it to be able to play "real" ringtones. so i have two questions, is the razor phone really as bad as people say? and if you have tmobile, which phone would you recommend me to get? thanks! omg...i dont know what to do at all...you see my problem isi knew this boy mike for the longest time(his family is a friend of my family). and back when i hated his guts and actually had a crush on his older brother greg....my brothers and sisters would tease me and make fun of me saying haha, you like mike, you like mike. And i really didnt.well the problem starts now...this time around im like in love with him...it didnt start till early october when he got a job at the carnival i worked at....once we were paired together and i was so happy.We were woking together in a huge basketball game caled longrange...he kept calling my name and going wiatch this and a whole bunch of shit like that before he did a shot like trying to impress me. i kept saying "am i suppoesed to be impressed?" and he was like hell yea each time...even if he missed..well everytime i get up the courage and the chance to ask him out or at least tell him how i feel about him and show him my book full of poems all about him(and the sad thing is i dontwrite poems, i suck at them, my friends said they are really good) he is going out with someone.....most of the time its wih one of my friends....on monday we were hanging out in the hallway with my friend raquele because we didnt want to goto class and he was messing with me and i was like micheal if you keep it up im gona murder you...and he told me then Ariele would murder me bcuz hes goin out with her....shes one of my good friendz...anyway i dont know what to do anymore...i cry myself to sleep and then dream of him...a wake up in the middle of the night and wipe the tears off my face after i dream about him then i have trouble going back top sleep...hes always messing with me and im always messing with him...i just dont know what to do....plz help me...i am so desperate....i rate 5's... If you really like him you should tell him but not straight out try to hint it towards him. If he already has a girlfriend then maybe you shouldn't get involved. Maybe you will get your chance eventually. Try not to think about it so much. No boy is worth that many tears...especially when your not together. All I can really say is pray.

I am a sophmore in highschool and I have been thinking about careers for my future. There has been one thing that I have been interested in for a while now. I want to become a sex therapist to cousil couples about their sex lives.. Sort of like Dr. Ruth? (Short little lady that talks about sex alot). The thing is.. I'm not sure how to approach my parents about it, because they would probably think it's a horrible career choice and wouldn't agree with what I'd be doing with my life. In my personal opinion I think it's admirable career.
So, I have a few questions here. One would be how should I approach my parents about this subject? The other is what colleges would actually have that course? Or is it made up of multiple courses?

Bring the topic up with an example and tell them why you want to do it. At first they'll proabably go against it but eventually they'll support you because isn't it YOUR future and YOUR life. It'll be hard, I'd be a bit shock if I were them, but I would listen to see whats about it that you wanna become one so much. I'm not sure about colleges try lookin under fileds of therapy and psychatrist.

For the past few weeks my best friend has been acting a lot different towards me. It seems like she doesn't want to be my friend anymore. We used to hang out all the time, now when I ask her to come over she ignores me or tells me her mom doesn't feel good. She once told me her mom was putting up Christmas decorations. I went there two days later since we were going to church and her mom was putting up decorations then & didn't seem to care I was there. At school if I'm talking to her and our friend Dan (changed the name) says something, she tunes me out and starts listening to him. Last night we went to the beauty pagent thing our school was doing, and she told me "you know, maybe we shouldn't go places together anymore." That gave me the notion that apparently she doesn't want to hang out with me anymore. One other thing is the other day she told me I couldn't come over because her mom was mad at her for something. I have a friend who's friends with her brother and he told me that her little brother had a friend spending the night. So what do you guys think is going on? Oh, and I've talked to her about her ignoring me when she talks to Dan but she just continues to do it. Any ideas or suggestions on what else I should say to her? Thanks. (link)

Sometimes friends just grow a part...even the best of friends. Give her some space, look back and see if you did anything that offended her, but chances are you proabably havrn't done anything. If she keeps doign this then just try to ignore her and find some new friends. OR maybe its just for a little while but don't give up hope on her.

well you first need to find out what type of hair you have and how your skin is. MAke-up should be natural-looking. Don't go all the way out with eyeshawdow or lipstick. Keep it simple that's what relly looks nice. As for hairstyles, try to find what you like best and how your hair works.

uhm..i met this girl over the summer, and now we go to different schools. we have a lot in common & during summer we became really close. everything was good back then. we talked everyday online, and we had late night talks on the phone. then school started, and we went from talking everyday, to talking once a week. then about a little over a month ago, we got back our friendship we lost cause of school. know what i'm talking about? we started becoming close again. we talked everyday online after school, and then we would sometimes talk on the phone. but now, everything seems bad. we've been talking to each other everyday. then she met another guy. i know this guy. and know its like she ignores me for him. so then on one random day i asked her to be my girlfriend. she said no, but i was okay with it, because i think we might be better off this way? i don't know. but after that, everything seemed good. we still talked on the phone like every night, and online after school. but now, she seems to be talking to the other guy, and i'm afraid that she will just end up forgetting about me, because this happened to me before. i don't know what to do. she said that we should take a break from talking to each other, because she needs time for herself, but i know that she's talking to the other guy, and i guess she doesn't want to talk to me. i'm confused and don't know what to do. please help me. If she said lets take a break that means its kinda over...what ever you guys had basically is slipping away...girls never 'just take a break' its like an excuse.
