I took 5 guitar lessons before I realized that they were a big waste of time and money.
If I was you, I'd find the major and minor chords online and practice alone. I learned SOOOO quickly that way.
Don't be nervous, it's very easy.

Aw, that's tough because he's a neighbor so avoiding him id hard. But you're 13, you will find so much better, TRSUT ME. I've met so many boys when I was 13 and I thought I loved each and every one of them, and now I'm 15 and cannot remember their name.
I think that guy is such a jerk for saying that. It's so mean and shallow and if he's like this now, he'll be even worse later.
Try to meet new boys and keep an open mind because there are better guys around

An aqauintance told me that 2 of my really good friends are dating behind my back, both of these friends are male therefore they are gay. I have absolutely NO problem with that but why wouldn't they tell me they were dating? I would've been really happy for them, now I am just hurt because they kept something like that from me. Trust me, it's a very hard thing to talk about. They are still your friends but they probably didn't want you to feel uncomfortable or any different around them.
They would have eventually told you, I'm sure, but it does take time. Also, they probably don't want it to get around. I'm sure you're great friends but it's still very difficult to express to people closest to you.
Don't feel hurt. You can always talk to them about it.
