My friend recently gave me a Vidal Sassoon Hair straightener (its black, with a black and silver handle) . She had already thrown away the instuctions and she's in California for 2 1/2 weeks. My problem is i dont know how/where to put the water to steam Ion, and steam my hair. If you have this straightener and you know how to do this, please tell me where to put the water, how much, and how to straighten it with the steam setting? I'll rate BunChes!!! :)
im sure the steam setting is around the bottom of the handle or on the wire somewhere.
a lot of straighteners dont require water id say to just fill it up all of the way where a hole is in the top part of the straightner.
if you found the brand or the type of straightener it is...typed in the brand or something online im sure i could find you the instructions and give you a better answer.

yes, i used to have some a couple years ago. its by NYC and you can get it at a walgreens, CVS pharmacy or a k mart. they usually have a good selection on lipgloss :)

I've heard of the razored hair style but im not completely sure what it looks like.
I sortof have a cloudy idea from what I've been told but I have yet to see what it really looks like.
My hair comes down about 5 inches past my shoulders (almost to the middle of my back) and I was looking to have it razored. I'm wanting to keep it as long as possible to what it is now but wanting it be noticable that it was razored.
Can anyone show me pictures of this hair style at the length of my hair (about mid-back)?

if your saying your hair is down to the middle of your back, it will definetly make a difference. especially if your hair is not layered or anything.

I totally loooove stockings - just plain black ones but I don't wear skirts often. Is it okay to wear stockings with shorts? If so what type of shorts (like camo print, beige coloured, denim etc.). What else can you wear with stockings?

cute. but you gotta be careful with what you wear them with. a lot of the modern "goth-punk-rocker" girls wear them with just about anything but sometimse, i gotta say they really dont go with just anything--no offense.
stockings would definetly go with the shoes you have and because theyre black and white you can do any color.
white and black stockings definetly go for default.
the shoes would pretty much go with anything ex. skirts, minis, pants, shorts.
really just have a matching top like black or white or the color of your stalkings..and you can wear jeans, jean shorts, jean skirts. ect.
you can also wear it with kakis.
im not sure about the whole camo thing...besides if it were camo pants theyd be covered up but i dont think camo pants would really go with stalkings or the shoes

im 14 and about 5`3-5`4 and 110 pounds and my waist is like 31 inches so I'm wondering would I fit into a size 2 mini skirt at abercrombie and fitch? or what size fits me because I'm buying the skirt on ebay and i dont know what size i am.
id go to the store and just try it on anyways. i always get different sizes because all materials make you fit differently. i wear a size 7-9 in pants and a size 5 in dresses. so it all really depends on the materials and how comfortable you feel in them.
Well, my two best friends & I went & got our cartlidges pierced two weeks ago. Today I chanqed mine, I cleaned it & put a different one in. Then I felt a bump on the back of it. I`m wondering is it a assist ? my step mom had hers pierced & said that the second week hers hurt alot [mine doesnt] but there was a bump on the back & it was a assist & she had to let it close up. im scared it is, can you tell me if it is or what it could be ?
soak it and go back to the place you got it pierced and have them take a look. just keep cleaning it without irritating it and youll be fine :)

i concur. i think you should wear something bright. and just do little changes. your boyfriend should see your heart and not what your wearing. but if you really want to bedazzle him, but on something pretty. like a dress, do some eyeliner and touch of colored gloss. he'll love it :)

1st off. your mother doesnt hate you. she may seem disappointed i agree. but really shes just looking for you to find yourself. its hard to believe but mothers are very hard on girls. i know my mother is hard on me! thats for sure. and i completely understand about the whole grades thing. the only thing you can do is work hard and keep trying to show her how hard your working. and if she doesnt get it and is still hard, which is probably going to happen, then you just keep doing what youre doing. and make yourself happy. dont worry about the rest. but know your mom does love you. and sometimes, mothers just want to know whats going on in their daughters lives. which might be why shes taking your diary.
my mother used to take my diary. mine actually got exposed amoungst the family. it was an awful expirence so be careful what you write and say. but if you think she'll be understanding try talking to her about not taking your diary. my mom still cleans my room and makes my bed so i know what it feels like to have all your stuff gone through. and im seventeen years old. hah.
if not try to find a different hiding place. or keep it in your purse if its small enough. or have 2 seperate diarys. one about school n such. and one about your love life ;) and keep the other one really hidden

My boyfriend and I have been dating 10 months. We go to a two story school with stairwells. We were in this one particular stairwell in the morning before school started and one teacher told us to "MOVE ON, GET TO CLASS" (Note: We were not hugging or doing any other type of PDA, my boyfriend was just standing against the wall with me about a foot in front of him looking at him). Today, between classes, we were in the same stairs, same scenario. We walked down the stairs, hugged quickly, then I went back up the stairs where the teacher was staring then made my way to my class (I went to third period). She happened to be talking to my boyfriend and I's fourth period teacher, when the teacher that got on to us and came over and talked to us. She said that we are not allowed to be in the stairwell between classes (except to get to class, obviously)and we were giving the appearance of doing something else (Note: Neither of these "rules" are written school rules). She told us if she caught us in there again, she was going to write us both up. My boyfriend asked what rules we were breaking and she said "Subordination". She told our fourth period teacher about it, and my fourth period teacher got on to us simply for holding hands (according to the policy book, this is acceptable).

i went to a school like that...and they believed that the man should just not touch the woman because it provoked terrible things and basically we'd go to hell for it. haha
as long as your not breaking the rules i dont see the problem. and if they do write you up and you wanna fight it. get ur rule book they give u at the beginning of the year, highlight the rule, and take it to a higher authority

I'm almost 21 and I admit it my boyfriend and I don't always use a condom, but I've been on the pill for years and never had an issue. Till recently when I was sick, the Dr gave me antibiotics but didn't tell me that they would make my birthcontrol inaffective. To make matters worse I forgot to start my newest round of pills after my last cycle. For two weeks now I've been waiting patiently for any signs that my period is coming and nothing has happened other than nausa and dizzyness, and being un able to zip up a dress I made a month ago. I haven't had the courage to take the test yet, mostly cause I'm pretty positive about what it will say. But now here comes the hard part how do I tell my boyfriend that by this time next year we could very well be parents, how do I tell him that because of one little known fact and my preoccupation with my job on campus that our whole lives are about to change. I need some advice from people outside of my cirlce of friends and family someone who has nothing to gain or lose.

1st you need to talk to your boyfriend. tell him all the possibilities of what will happen. he may be upset or he may be understanding. you know him better than i do
if hes a good guy though, he'll stay with you. and take on the consequences of the actions.
the second step to do would be to take the test. and it might help if he was there for moral support..but you should take the test and make sure. and if it turns up positive see your doctor.
then decide with your boyfriend what you guys wanna do. that way there is no time to loose in preparing for IF your lives do change all together.

This guy, Mark, was my best friend last year. We would call each other all the time, talk on IM, and we kept in touch over the summer. When school started, I thought everything between us would be like it was last year. I guess he had different plans. He does not say one word to me! He doesn't even look at me and it really upsets me. I didn't do anything to make him mad at me. Over the summer, I think he changed. He sits near me at lunch and I can hear some of the things he says and it makes me wonder why I was ever his friend. He's not the kind of guy who you can just talk to about things and expect him to be sympathetic. I don't understand! How do I get my friend back?
ive had a lot of expirence with that actually, honestly the best thing you can do is to just talk to him about. call him up and ask him if he wants to hang out sometime. and judging by his response you'll be able to tell if he really changed or not. pretend that nothing is wrong, and you guys are still just really good friends.
and then once you guys hang out..ask him why you never really see or talk to him anymore. just be really sweet. but you will definetly be able to tell if anything went wrong in the friendship by his response. :)
alright.........so honestly. you just need to be straight up with him and ask him what his deal is.
