i tore my ACL almost a year ago(the 8th) playing basketball, i had surgery blah blah blah, its been about 10 months since my surgery, but like im still scared, iv been playing basketball iv been taking gymnastics, but the thing im really scared about basketball. Like playing with my own team, i dont care, but just thinking about playing with other people scare me. i think im okay with playing with my team bc they all know i tore it, i have a knee brace, and it stands out.. its pink.. lol. but im just scared that some other person on the other team will hurt me, you know?.. my team is easy around me, makes sure im okay when i fall, but we're going to camp, and its like a camp with really good schools going, rough, physical teams. how can i get over being scared?.. i;ll be in the 11th grade and im playing varsity next year, i didnt this year bc of my knee,i was suppose to, but i got hurt. so i dont wanna suck bc im scared, im like that. any ideas how to be "not scared" of getting hurt again??.. sorry so looong, but please help!! There really is no way to "not be scared" unless you just face it. If you use a brace, and a physician has cleared you to play, you should be fine. There is no way you can be succesful at any sport if you allow yourself to have fear, especially fear of injury. You have to just play on it, and you will in time feel more comfortable with it.

i've had a crush on my best guy friend ever since...around fourth grade we've been really tight ever since then, but ive always felt a little more for him, now for the past couple months he's been flirting a lot with me and calling me a whole lot more..his best friend asked me today would you rather be best friends or date him. his friend sent me a convo between them saying that he wanted to ask me out...i really want to say yes but would that destroy our friendship? Ha, I hate being in that kinda situation. It could go either way. I would say if he asks you out, say yes. You will always regret it if you stay friends. It will only possibly destroy the friendship if you guys go through a hard breakup (say you cheat on him or vice versa). But i have had feelings for my best girl friend, and I regret not acting on them because she is taken now :(. But both of you will be happier as a couple.

That is no reason to break up with someone, let be serious. Just let him know how you feel about that, but I honestly do not think you should break up with a guy for looking at girls. Like you never looked at a hot guy who passed you? Guys will be guys, and he probably feels comfortable enough with the relationship so much that he will just flat out be himself. You have been going out over a year, so I feel thats no big deal.

Don't assume he might be controlling later on because he has somewhat racist views. Now, you can't make any body get along, but set it straight that they do not have to be friends, but just be respectful of you, and each other. Do not stop talking to your best guy friend, you will absolutely regret it. Talk to your boyfriend, I'm sure you guys can work it out

does anyone know anything i could do to make my thighs look thinner? i'm not fat but theres just that little like jiggle when i walk kind of and i want my thighs to be slimmer. working out and running just builds muscle and i do not want my legs to be muscly cause that won't change the size .. it just makes them harder. ive tried eating less.. but that just made my top half sooo skinny and i look pretty unproportioned right now. i need like exersices or ANYYTHING to make them smaller without adding mass from muscle. thanks in advancee! If you want to lose the jiggle, your going to have to put on some muscle. Don't get it confused though, adding musicle will not make your legs be all big and muscular. Doing exercises will help burn the fat and replace it with muscle. Try yoga, or pilates.

I would say put some more thought into it, and if your feelings stay the same, your going to have to end the relationship. You will just grow unhappy and miserable. But for his sake, do NOT go for his friend, that ill only cause problems.

You fall for the same guys as your best friend because you guys most likely have similar personalities. It has happened to me and my friends before, because we are similar in ways and that makes us attracted to the same girls. nothing youcan really do, besides talk things out with your friends before going after their ex.

There is a good chance he likes you too, but yes, he has a gf, and he wont exactly tell anyone besides his close circle of friends. keep your relationship with him, and if him and his gf ever break up, then who knows what can happen.

Great movie...i love it. i'm not even irish!!
but its a movie about 2 brothers who get into a barfight and a whole ordeal happens and they end up killing 2 guys. you really have to watch the movie. they go on to help take down organized crime.

Avoid carbs before bed, look for more protien. Protien cannot be stored as fat, so protien before bed is good, because your body enters a catabolic stage, and after a while it will break down some muscle to burn.

i eat healthy. sometimes i have a scoop of icecream but its not large at all. i am an over all healthy person. no fast foods besides subway once and a while. i am a cheerleader. i love potatoes! like, just a normal baked potatoe, don't need salt or butter. is that good? i hear the skin is the healthiest part? also, sometimes i go crazy wth penut butter and just eat spoonfulls but i can't help it. what should i do? Well if you really eat like you say you do, i dont see any problems with a alittle ice cream once in a while. I like to put peanut butter on those mini Thomas cinnamin raisin bagels, its a good source of protien and a little bit of healthier fats. Just don't over do it on the peanut butter.... haha. I have the same eating habits pretty much

Im a guy..and at school a girl who is dressed very sexy will catch my attention, but thats about it. I meab theres a girl in my shcool who comes in dressed in a really short skirt and high heels every day, and i find it very un attractive. I like girls that who wear cute clothes, and a non-whorish skirt(if u get what i mean, whcih you probly dont because i cant explain it lol.) Overall, sexy clothes catch attention, but i like girls who wear cute clothes say from abercrombie or american eagle, along those lines.

Ha this is a situation that ive been in, and still sort of am. One of my best friends has a girlfriend who is very flirty with me and they break up on and off, but are still pretty much together, and i got into a huge fight with him over her.
I'll tell you one thing though, friends are more important than a boyfriend/girlfriend. In the end, you friends will always be there, and it is never worth losing a friend over a guy/girl. A little flirting isnt bad if it is just your personality, but try not to do it in front of your friend if you want, and DO NOT ever make a move on him, or let him on you.
