Ok, I will definetely try my best to answer this.
By the clues he drops it seems to me that he does seem interested. You might want to try talking to his friends maybe if you want to know if he likes you (it usually works), don`t flat out ask them though, just act friendly and all and eventually slowly bring him up nonchallantly. And if you really like him you should be friends with him! All relationships start as "just friends", it might be too much pressure for you and him to "find out if he likes you" and all so it would be easier if you just start out as friends and see if it grows from there.

If you`re sure you`re going through with this (because there are MANY things to consider) well here`s what to expect.

Ok, first off I lost mine at 13 (8th grade) but this is a different situation, I lost mine to a boyfriend who I thought I loved very much & we were together a very long time, very strong bond, ect. If I were you I wouldn`t lose it to a friend because there are many things to take into consideration:
1. Your feelings, he could drop you if you ever get emotionally involved.
2. It HURTs ... A LOT, you might not want to be going that far that young, your first time isn`t all it`s cut out to be!!!!
3. You`re risking a reputation as a slut.
4. Are you sure you want to lose it to a FRIEND? He might not even care about you as more than just a "piece of ass". Which is kind of redundant to #1.

Nooo, this is not a sign of being lesbian. The reason you probably turned your head and freaked out is because you are nervous, I really don't blame you, your first time is usually unexpected and if your with someone who`s more experienced it just makes you even more nervous. Think about it seriously, there really is no rush because there will be other guys, here`s some making out tips:
1. Try to relax a little bit, not too much though you don`t wanna be loose, but enough to be able to move but still have control of your mouth.
2. Don`t use too much tongue your first time, I`ve had bad experiences with other people who have used too much and it feels like being strangled with a wet slimey worm haha. (But don1t worry if you mess up, it`s your first time so cut yourself some slack.)
3. After your first couple of minutes you will soon become comfortable if you just follow the other person`s rythm and you will definetely get the hang of it.
