I definitely agree with the other two posters. College is so much more awesome than high school.

DOn't stress. College IS a big transition, but jsut think- all the other freshmen are in the same boat as you. If you move away to college, then you'll probably be in a dorm with other freshman or maybe sophomores. I'm sure you'll find friends, it's basically inevitable. If you're not moving away (like me- we have a college in our city and I stayed here), then it's pretty much jsut like high school on steriods, haha. Take basic classes and just get the feel of things. The first semester will probably be hard, trying to figure out how things work and what your routine is. But after a week or two, it's no sweat.

well, i know you didn't really want to do a surprise party, but what if you tell her you're having a halloween party. just tell her it's an hour later than you tell everyone else (or tell everyone else to be there early). everyone can dress up and stuff, and then have birthday cake and some happy birthday decos along with the halloween decor.

and maybe back her a cake and decorate it really cute, like write "happy birthday best friend!" and some inside jokes or add hearts and stuff like that.

My friend and I are exactly like this: I always see the positive and disregard the negative most of the time, and she always looks for the worst in people. I absolutely hate this, and I think it's a very jaded way to live your life if you only pick out the bed things about people. So I definitely agree with you.

I like meeting new people and making new friends (and since I just started college, this is a great outlook to have). I always look for the best in the people I meet, not the worst. I've found that if you look for the negative side all the time, then once you find it, it becomes the biggest part of how you view someone (like when you think of that person, that bad quality they have comes to mind). I hate that idea and like to do the opposite.

I read a quote not too long ago that's something like "Don't call me naive just because I don't always look for the worst in a person." Some people are going to say you're naive about the world because you have a positive, optimistic outlook. But they're the ones that need to have a little more faith in humanity!

what about throwing a "party for a purpose"? have a party somewhere and ask people to donate a few bucks as admission. have stuff like guitar hero or rockband set up (borrow it from one of your friends that has it), cornhole, maybe have a bonfire with smores or hot dogs to roast, drinks and chips and stuff, just like a hanging out kind of thing! (:

I tan about once a week. I do it simply because it makes my skin and ance look better. I have a really uneven skin tone around my face and chest, and when I'm tan, you can't tell as much. I do agree that the girls that have nasty leathery skin and have turned orange are taking it way too far. Tanning can make people look better, as I think it does for me, but it can definitely do the opposite as well.

i don't think they make the new one in 4 GB, i think the smallest is 8 GB. but from what i hear they're pretty kick-a. and the 'shake and shuffle' feature will be pretty hard to activate, so it won't come on when you're running. i think the green and yellow look pretty snazzy too, btw.

I definitely agree that Mario Kart is pretty kick-a. It's basically like the old one but updated. And the wheel is cool and makes it easier to control. I think the wheels are only like $10 at Walmart.

I have to disagree... I've gone to school with a couple that have been dating exactly the same amount of time my boyfriend and I have been dating. Our difference- they have sex, lots of it, like you obviously do, and we don't. We have been together three years and a few months.

The sex has become all their relationship is about. It came to a point where they did it so much that it's what they expected each time they saw each other, and it got old. Now they fight all the time and never spend time with any of their other friends because of the fighting and all that junk.

It's fine to have sex a few times a week, but not everytime you see each other. Get out and do something fun.

I tore my ACL the first weekend of my senior year, and I had to wear a similar brace and was on crutches for about three weeks. People will definitely ask you what happened, and once they find out, lots will ask to help you. This could actually be a plus, because guys will admire that you play a sport and a dislocated knee is a pretty big deal. And if any cute guys ask if you need help, take advantage of it. If they carry your bookbag or something, make small talk and get to know them. If you planned on have a girlfriend help you, just tell them you found a cute boy to help (;

you should call the at&t warranty number. then they'll ask you a series of questions to figure of if the warranty is still good. if so, then send it in. i've had to do this twice to my phone, within six months of each other, and it's worked out fine. i got the new phone in a few days and they send you the supplies to ship the disfunctional phone back to them.
