Hey. So my iPod is being sooooo stupid! I'm so mad right now! please help!! so, I was just listening to it earlier and it was fine! and it was almost fully charged! so i pluged it in to add songs and itunes pulls up and it starts asking me all these weird questions about restarting my iPod, but if I restart it I'll loose all of my songs. So I clicked not right now and it says that it's sinking games. But I didn't want it to do that, so I clicked the x button at the top to stop. But then my iPod didn't say "Do not disconect" the screen just went blank. So I unpluged it,and now all it is doing is nothing. It just has a white screen. I can't do anything. And when I plug it in, it doesn't even say that its pluged in. And when I do the thing where you click the hold button back and forth and then hold down the menu button and the middle button, it makes the weird noise, kinda like a song or something. It's not long though, just about 3-5 seconds. So please! Tell me what to do!!! all i want to do is add songs! does it need some new kind of batteries or something?? and if so, where can i get them? pleaseeeeeee help!! thanks!
Restore your iPod (you called it restart, but iTunes says "Restore"). If you have all of the music on your computer, you can just put to the music back on the iPod. (if you don't have all the music on your computer, I suggest you get it before restoring your iPod.
Or, maybe you need to re-install iTunes.
Oh, and try holding the menu and middle button down longer. My brother has to hold them down for about 30 seconds before his iPod restarts.
If you've searched through the Apple website and the the internet enough, and yet your iPod still messes up, maybe it's time to get a new iPod! I don't recommend the newest iPod Nanos (the ones with video), because they're glitchy. But I'm guessing you like the video feature, so maybe you would like the new iPod Nano, though they don't hold much...
Sorry! I'm blabbering about iPods! But, anyway, if you have to buy a new iPod, make sure it fits all of your needs!

When I play certain games, it won't work/load. It will just have a lil icon in the top left corner with a circle, triangle, and square in it or something. What can I do to fix this? I tried downloading the Shockwave player or whatever from Adobe.com to see if that would do anything, but it didn't. One of the games said I needed to the Shockwave plug-in? What is that? What do I need to download?

I started talking to this boy on AIM one day(about 2 years ago). he is a year older then me (im 13). he had a girlfriend when we started talking but i think i got in the way and they eventually broke up. he lived in a different state then me, but he is my best friend. I love him. I really do. I partially agree with the previous answer. You don't really know who he is, or if he was just talking to you for perverted reasons.
Anyways, you'll get over him. It sounds like he's ignoring you, which isn't very nice, but none-the-less, he's moving on. I advise you do the same. You'd be better off finding some guy at school (assuming you're not home-schooled), that you think is cute, nice, etc. instead of chasing after some guy you don't know.

I have a Sony Vaio NR and I was wondering, is it okay for my laptop to be on my lap? Would it get too hot and then slow down the computer?
Also, I kept my laptop connected to the charger even though it was charged--would that damage the battery or decrease battery life?

Keep your legs opened, so the hot air can vent. If the fan/vent is on the bottom, make sure that is not covered up!
I don't think keeping the charger in the laptop would damage the battery, but it might be better to unplug it every now and then! But what will damage the battery is if you leave your laptop on a desk or something and it gets too hot, it might make the battery leak or melt. (Same with the hard drive and fan inside the computer, if they get too hot, they can get seriously damaged!)

You can't make minimum wage at 13, and you'll be lucky if you get a decent job.
The best thing to do is like baby-sitting. (O.K., not the best choice, but if you live in a rich community, they'll pay a lot.) Or you could mow lawns! (If you can find an old lady's house, it's even better, they tend to pay more.)

Just ignore them. As long as you know the truth, it doesn't matter.
Oh! You can always confront the guy and talk it over with him. (It's always better to go to the source instead of the mob, and also there's less of a chance that you will have to physically fight them if you talk to the guy).
If you believe in karma it will, I guess. But don't rely on karma too much, you might jinx it. Try to solve the matter instead of waiting for them to "get a taste of their own medicine" -- which would be stooping down to their level.

First of all, I'm a girl and my friend is a guy. We're both in high school. I like him, and he knows it, but we are still really good friends, even though it did hold us down for a while. You should tell him how you feel about his girlfriend, and make it sound like a concerned friend (which you are).
If he truly believes that his girlfriend is what he wants and needs, then you should respect that =/ I know that can be painful.
If he agrees that he doesn't need his girlfriend, then don't go for the kill and confess to him, give him time to heal.
Since he knows you like him, he might like you in return, but doesn't want to ruin your friendship.
He might not like you like as a potential girlfriend, and doesn't want to admit to that and ruin your friendship. You'll hurt if he tells you that, and your friendship won't be stable.

What is the best camera for taking pictures of people. Preferably under $1000 Thanks
I have a Kodak Easyshare V1003.
It fits in my pocket, and starts up really quickly.
It takes 10 mega pixel photos, which means they're of high quality. (so whenever I crop out some of the picture, it doesn't look blurry or anything)
It takes a picture in about 1-4 seconds (depending on your distance from your subject)
It has 23 different settings for taking pictures (including a setting for subjects in motion).
It only cost about $350 at Target. So, it's not very expensive.
For editing pictures I usually use the software that comes with it.

if i download the brushes for it from most sites, will it be compatible with mac? or is only for windows?

I haven't had any problems with the whole compatibility thing for brushes, and I own a mac with Photoshop CS3 (and CS2).
It's the same format of file, but I guess it depends where you downloaded the brush from.

so i got the new ipod nano for christmas
and i think i already broke it

so i go to i tunes to go and puc songs onto my ipod
and my sis already had an ipod so i already had itunes downloaded(she has the normal ipod nano)
but when i stuck my ipod on it says i need the newwer version
so i downloaded the newer version which is a 7.5 or 7.4(i can't member)
and then it said something about how i need to restore my ipod on itunes
so i go to the summary tab and i click restore
and everytime i try to turn my ipod on it won't turn on
it'll say go to itunes and restore
and i've done it a couple of times now
but nothing is working
so if you have any odeas on how to fix it
that would be nice
and if you can tell me how you put songs onto your ipod can help also

First of all: when you 'restore' your iPod, you basically reset it, it takes all the music off of the iPod, and resets all the settings.
About the iTunes thing, make sure that you have the correct version of whatever OS (operating system, like Mac or Windows Vista/XP/98) the iTunes download page says it needs. Like if you're using Windows XP, you might have accidentally downloaded the Windows Vista version.
Oh, and to put music on your iPod:
Like, when you plug in your iPod to your computer, in iTunes it should have your iPod as an option in the side-menu thing. If not, your computer might not be recognizing your iPod... which is a whole different problem. Anyways, go to your music (it should be the first option in the side menu thing in iTunes). Go to which songs you want on your iPod, and drag it to the iPod in the side menu thing I was talking about earlier.
