Theese sites can be pretty helpful but are sometimes alot of trouble. You have to upload the pic, crop your hair out of it and try to find the hairstyles you want to try on. Well, I usually don't ask for anything expensive during the holidays but this year since I'm 17, there's a lot that I feel like I would need. My mom is planning on getting me a car soon (not for christmas but within the next couple of months). So that's kind of a christmas present from her I guess. My parents are divorced and I was planning on asking my dad for a Sidekick 3 phone (along with some CDs), but I don't know if that's asking for too much since I'm getting a car soon. I don't want to be a little spoiled brat. What do you think? Just wait for the phone or ask for both...car from mom and phone from my dad? I know my birthday is an option but that's not until september.
If your Dad isn't heling with the car at all, then Im sure he's WANT to get you something, so I think its o.k. to ask him for the phone and CDs. If you don't he might go out and spend just as much money on you but get you something you really don't want.

Ok. This is a long story but i hope i can get some advice. i really like this guy, and i've liked him bout 3 months now. well, this whole day today, we have been flirting and stuff. and we talk alot, he is in all of my classes and we have alot of fun together. well, today in my science class, our teacher aranged our desks around. my friend sat down, then i sat next to her. and the guy that i really like said "i'm going to sit by you today" in a funny voice cause we always do this funny voice w/ each other. then, when he sat down my friend was like "aww thats cute". ok so there's this boy. and i really really started liking him in the beginning of the year because he was mad cute. well, haha, i never really talked to him, i was always to shy. it's werid too, because im am a very outgoing person and everyone knows me to be friendly, fun, and loud. i have never been with a guy before, and i think he's never been with a girl, im not sure. he is popular, but only hangs out with a few people in his "group" and there mostly all guys. You can tell he's very shy unless he's around his friends. Well, I hang out with some of his friends too, but im like more preppy than them & he does pot so we don't have too many of the same friends.
Ok, well at the beginning of the year, he liked me too, but we were always to shy to talk to each other! So we kinda drifted apart and never started up a convo. Now, being december; i notice i still really like him. And he trys to talk to me! but i get sooooo shy and like freeze up and ignore him : ( and this is the complete opposite of who i really am, because im never shy!

so, this guy likes me. and i don't like him, not like that. but... he sorta won't give up. he calls me a lot, and he just keeps asking if i like him, but in different ways every time. I've decided that I want to go to a community college before going to a 4 year college, but my mom said no when I suggested it. I know it's my decision, but if I decide to take that route, my mom might make me pay rent, or she may not help out with tuition. What to do?
There's nothing wrong with going to a community college for 2 years, then transfering to a university for the other 2 years and getting your Bachelors, its way cheaper too, because the tuition is much cheaper at a community college for 2 years and a transfer than going to a university for four years. Your mom might think that you may not continue on to a university after 2 years of community college, which happens to alot of people. But anyways, it's your choice, not her's and you shouldnt let her pressure you into doing something you dont want to do.

I don't feel safe at my school.
Like, yesterday, I left my binder in a class in a basket under the seat. I come back today and it is totally ALL written on, every single page [which is like 100 pages]. It says "Dum ho", "slut", "sell out", "I HATE YOU B@#!@! :D" all this unprintable stuff.
and, today in 5th period, i get a pass to go to the bathroom and when I walk outside, the guys that love to torment me start making fun of me.

He probably likes you and is too immature to tell you and finds other ways to get your attention, guys can be retarded like that. Yeah this happened to me too. I was talking to this one guy, kinda liked him but we were just friends. When one of my friends started liking him I REALLY started liking him. I think part of this is jealousy, because I got kind of mad that she was out to get attention from this guy who had been giving me attention, even if it was just as friends.

When your with that group you were talkin about, you should just kinda follow their conversations first. Like if some girl says that a guy is hot or whatever you could be like, yeah he's hot but really shallow or something. You talk about guys, you'll have thier attention. As you get more comfortable with them, you can just start your own conversations, speak up and talk about something the other people seem to care about.

14/m right i am the biggest health freak i no and i meen huge just to put it into view how big of a health freak i am i watch what i eat i do exercise for atleast an hour a day i record what i eat and i take my bmi weigh my self every day i even know what my resting metabolic rate is its 1583 calories right iv been letting my self goa little bit because its near christmas thing is i feel fatter and im noticing these fat stores which wernt there before please some one help me i know this may be parranoya but still any advice??
Quit stressin and just chill out! if you keep worryin your just gonna gain more wieght. Stress really does make you gain weight. Last year i gained 5 pounds in like a week right before final exams, no one else noticed but i dropped those 5 pounds right after exams by running about a mil eor two each day. If you want to lose weight maybe you should push yourself just a little more when your exercising, just don't overload.

i just started running this year, and it's become something that i really enjoy. i ran cross country and i didn't do so well because, i`m built to be a sprinter. but anyways, during the cross country season, i had some problems with shin splints. they only came every once and a while, and they weren't a major issue, so i just worked through it.. now i`m doing indoor track. we practice on our outdoor track because we don't have an indoor track. our outdoor track is illegal. we can't even hold meets at our school because of it. its uneven and one of my friends broke her foot on it. we've been having sprinting practice out there, and my shin splints have gotten worse because of it. i have them the second i stop running, and they don't go away anymore. i ice them every night, and i stretch properly, but nothings working. my coach also has us running in the hallways at school. i never thought sprinting on tile was such a good idea either. thats the only way we can practice though. i don't know how else to get my shin splints to go away. i`m doing great in track, and quitting is definitly out of the question. if you have any ideas on minimizing shin splints please help!
I run track and cross country too and I got shin splints really bad last year durring track, IT SUCKS! As for pain killers, Ibuprofen works best for swelling. My doctor told me to stop running for a while, but that wasnt an option for me either. You're doing every thing else your supposed to, but you should really take easier, at least durring practices, if they keep getting worse.If your shins get unbearably painful, you need to go to a doctor. My friend's shin splints ended up turning into a minor fracture that kept her from finishing the track season last year, but that's because she just kept running harder on pavement, which is way worse than on grass. I see where an indoor track and tile would really be hard on you. Give it your all at meets, but you should really take it easier durring practices!

Yeah but you can't be all about looks either (not sayin you are). OK, how long after you have sex should you be feeling the effects of morning sickness? I had sex 8 days ago with my boyfriend. 2 days later I woke up feeling sick as a dog, and it continued into the next day, I was ok after the initial day but I haven't really been eating anything until today when I finally got my appetite back. Is that too soon to experience morning sickness or will it be a couple or weeks before i do?

and found a similar quesion. HCG is Human Chorionic Gonadotropin and its a hormone that may cause a woman to feel nauseous jsut a few days after conception. Its the hormone that first signals preganancy, it shows up in blood and urine tests and is probably making you feel sick.

A:We assume you actually know the answer to your question by now, but briefly, the link between nausea and pregnancy is still not very well understood. Its probably a reaction to HCG, so its theoretically possible at implantation, but usually the levels aren't high enough to cause sickness.
