Q: ok I recently met a guy through his mother, they recently moved into town and asked me to go to a movie with the family. I dont know if he liked hanging out with me or not, he gave me a ride home and actually took me to his apt while he changed clothes before we went over to his parents house again, and didn't take me home until 12:30am but I dont know if i should ask him to hang out again or not.

Well, what you need to ask yourself, is do you want to hang out with him again? If you do, then ask him. The worst he could do is say no. and He was the one that asked you to the movies, right? that could be a sign that he doesn't mind being with you. Also, if he kept you out till 12:30, he might have been trying to get every last minute in with you while not getting you home too late. Hope I helped.

Q: alright, I heard somewhere, that if you sleep in a tampon, then you can get an infection or a disease or something.

1. myth or fact?
2. If a fact, what is the infection?

Well, for one thing, It's not if you sleep with one in. You're just not supposed to have one in for more than 8 hours. There is an infection you can get, but it is very rare. it's called toxic shock syndrome, tss for short. I'm not exactly sure what it's caused by, but if not treated right away, it can end in death. Just read any instruction paper thingie that comes in any tampon box and it tells you all the warnings and symptoms and about it and stuff. Hope I helped.

The bases are really different for everyone. It all depends on your maturity level and how far you've gone already. Like for one of my friends, base one will be, touching (like holding hands), and for another it'll be kissing. Like I said, it basically all depends on your maturity level. You've got to set your own bases. Nobody can tell you what they are. Hope I helped.

Nope. It's normal. Like mine, I have one that likes to stick out and one that doesn't. Every female has random things like this. Don't worry. It's nothing serious to be considered. It just helps after you have your baby to breastfeed, but it's not like your not going to be able to. Hope I helped.

Q: How can you be friends again? When you haven't seem them for long time and you don't know what to talk about anymore. I need your help please is tonight that I'm going to see my best friend Raymond that i haven't seem him for a long time and i don't know what to talk about with him.

It will all fall in place. I recently got in a fight with a friend and we didn't see each other for two months. Now we have hung out once and we are practically the best of friends again. We plan to start seeing each other more as we get more comfortable with each other. Just don't let it be awkward, and it won't. Just be yourself like you always were before ya'all stopped talking. It may seem hard, but it's really easier than it seems. Hope I helped.

Yep, It's normal. Guys do it all the time. Maybe he just wasn't in the mood to begin with, he was just making out with you and stuff for fun. Guys can be up one second, and then down the next. Sometimes they can't control it. Hope I helped.

Q: my left boob is bigger than my right one! is it gonna be like this forever?? i dont like it!!

That is perfectly normal. :] All of my friends and myself has said something at some time about one being bigger than the other. They will eventually even out and they won't get too far apart. But, always go with the bra size of the bigger one! Hope I helped.

Well, If you're trying to get over someone, you surely don't want love songs. Unless they help you. You could check out this country band called Lonestar. They don't have a myspace, which made me sad when I found out, but you could download some of their songs. I feel they have some REALLY good love songs. Honestly, love songs don't work for me when I'm trying to get over someone. So I listen to usually country. It has lots of heartbreak songs that I relate to and help me pace. Or if you like rock, it helps me too. But if love songs help, like I said, lonestar is good, as well as um, Keith Urban has some really good love songs. Hope I helped.

Q: my friend wears a bikini, shes not the skinnest girl in teh world but isn't like obese or anything. she is kind of over weight. so when we get out of the pool, she runs to the ladder, and runs to her towel and throws on her shirt. my question is, if she is SO self conscience, why doesn't she just wear a one piece or a tankini?

That's a good question. Some girls think they look better in a bikini. Or maybe She wants to get a good tan. I have also heard that when someone looks at you underwater, when they're above water, you don't look as big. But I would probably go with the tan idea. Even if she doesn't layout and try to get a tan, she will. If she thinks she's fat like you say she does, She would probably run to put on her shirt no matter what she was wearing. When youre self consieous, you have your mind in one place and it would be really hard to get people to change it. Hope I helped.

Q: Okay well I really really really like this guy and The thing is im not talkitive and like all the girls always you know talk and stuff and all I do is laugh . Ok I used to be just like you. I would sit there and listen to what everyone was saying cuz I was too shy to put in my own input. The way I got over that was that I made some outgoing friends and started hanging out with them and all their friends. At first, it didn't do anything, but as I got to know and trust these people more, I ended up being like them. Now I can go up to any random guy and at least ask them their name. I'm still pretty shy, but I have gotten a little more outgoing due to my new friends. Now, I'm not saying ditch the old ones, cuz friends are always good to have, but start hanging out with more outgoing people, or you can invite your old friends along. Hope I helped.

Q: This is weird, but Im TERRIFIED of sex. Im 14. But, I hate to think about which is weird because I masturbate all the time..but to think of something actually going in there is scary to me. Ive tried to put tampons in before and even that KILLS..I only get half way and I stop. Can anyone tell me if sex really hurts? On a scale of 1-10? Is there any pain sex compares to? Is it worth it?

At that age, It should be normal to be scared of sex. You shouldn't really be doing anything sexual at 14. I lost my virginity when I was 13 and I regret it so much. If you masturbate, You've already streched yourself out a little bit to wher you could be ready but I would not advise you losing your virginity at such a young age. I am almost 16, and like I said, I regret losing mine at such a young age so much. I know now that I should have waited, even a little longer, but it just didn't happen. As for the tampon, there's a certain angle at which you have to put it in for it to go in properly. I say don't do it until you know you're ready and understand it more to where you're not so scared of it.

Q: My dance teacher just said I could make up my own jazz/hip hop routine for my 12th year recital. Anyone have any good ideas for songs?

I think I would like to choreograph to "Bossy" by Kelis, if you get an unexplicit version. It has a good beat and could be fun to choreograph to.

Q: k so my mom is FINALLY letting me get highlights.(at a salon) :) my hair is like, a medium brown so i was wondering what color highlights would look good. i was thinking like,a reddish brown color or maybe light brown? i have no idea what color i should do. what do you think would look good?

My hair is a really dark brown. I needed something that would stand out, so I got a really light blonde that people said almost looked white. It turned out pretty ok. Highlights are usually meant to be a light color, but if you want to do just barely lighter than the natural, go for it. It depends if you want it to be noticeable or not. If you do, go for a way lighter color. If you don't want it to to TOO noticeable, only go for 2-3 shades lighter.

Q: ok so the problem is that theres this guy i really like. hes cute, smart, funny, sensitive, and just super sweet. he likes me too. let's call him john. my family don't like john cuz they say hes not ur average boy. w/e doesn't make sense but i have to agree so no one will get mad. i'm on a trip right now. but, i'm afraid the family will make me tell him off when i come home. important info: checks EVERYTHING on myspace. reads every comment, message, etc., watches everything i say on AIM and tells everything to write (i don't have a choice), checks my cell phone every day. none of these are options to talk to him. but should i explain the situation. or what do i say? i kinda like john. but, wat do i do? i need advice fast. i come home sunday and i don't want to talk that way to him! i need advice and i need it fast. i can't just say "my family doesn't like you but i do" i need a way for him to know that my mom is the one talking and running my myspace. help me quickly please! and i can't just tell my mom i don't want to sign on. she'll go on for me and start responding to people. thank you!

Well, for one thing, your parents are pretty nosy. My family is nosy, but I learned to deal with it. As for john, do you see him in person? If so, then that would be the time to say, "hey, I like you and all, but the internet is not me", ya know? Just be open and honest with him! If your mom doesn't listen to you phone conversations, you could also tell him there, or text messaging is an option if you can delete them before your mom sees.
