i live in arkansas, and we have A TON OF WIND! We've been having quite a lot latley. And I take an hour to fix my hair the way that I like it, and then with all the wind it gets ruined. is there anyway i can keep it from getting messed up? would hairspray work? i would use hair spray, but i dont want my hair to get stiff adn everything. i have short thin layers, and im growing my hair out again, so, whenever i have thick layers...will it still curl and everything like it does now?

actually with curls you might want to use mousse or hairspary...i have layers and i had a perm last year and those seem to work the best.

I am wanting to play guitar at some coffee house and im trying to get some songs that i can learn that do not involve vocals, so i can play them there. I'm looking for things that are maybe calm, and acoustic with 1 or 2 guitars. Maybe jack johnson or john mayer? (link)

well i know one song thats really good that i first heard on guitar hero three thing is it might be hard to play its called Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson and it has no vocals....

I really need to get organized for school! i am a highschool freshmen and i am so messy. my papers are everywhere! i lose everything(homework assignments/pencils/what ever youcan think of) and i really need some advice to get things organized. I want to be able to do my homework and then the next day be able to find it. I have tryed those big zipup expandafile type things(i dont know waht they are called) but i adventualy got tired of carrying it around and stoped using it. i need a new system. (link)

Okay same here...what i did was i got two-pocket folders for every class labled and decorated them...on the i left pocket i wrote homework/return and on the other side i wrote finished and save...Binders help alot too so good luck

Most guys are like that...boys feel they have to ACT a certain way around girls for them to be liked.Just let him know he can trust you and he'll act the same way around you he does his friends...so it can go either way.

Last month when i got my period it was on easter...the 23rd and yesterday it was the 11th and i started my period about 2 weeks early!!! is that weird because the month before that it was 4 days late please help!!!

well actually this is normal for any girl...your period can come late or not at all sometimes depending on your emotions and stress levels...this can also cause it to come early. You're okay its no problem

Well definately you have to tell him you don't think of him as a "boyfriend" and that you are only interested in the friendship...and if he doesn't understand he's not a good friend. Always be honest when you're telling someone no to a relationship cause if you fake it it will hurt worse in the end

Alright so basically i had not seen my oldest sister in like 3 or 4 years until she came and visited a while ago no when i was younger my sister was the only person that was always there i mean my parents were there but they separated alot so my sister took care of me and my other older sister (i'm the youngest) anywho my oldest sister, her name is Mandy well Amanda but i call her Mandy, came and visited she is married and has two kids my neice and nephew my sister is only 21 now and when she came to visit i was so happy cause i guess i really missed her i didnt really realize how much i needed her and how much i missed her until she visited for about 3 weeks while she was here i was noticing every little difference every little things that was the same since the last time i saw her i was noticing how much i missed it just hit me really hard because she was always there and thats pretty much all i missed her ALOT and we even had a talk cause neither of us could sleep and she came out and started talking to me about why she couldnt sleep and for some reason anytime someone starts talking about there emotions or anything like that of course i'm acting like a total idiot and all i can do is listen i can never tell people how i feel i just cant do it and i dont know why, i feel embarased stupid like no one will understand, lost, confused, i dont i guess alot of things so i cant seem to tell anyone but my sister and me had this talk and it was about a situation we had wehn we were younger my mom got beat up by her boyfriend and me and my older sister the middle sister Jessica were there in the house with my mom and her boyfriend when it happened Mandy was out with some friends so anyway she told me thats why she cant sleep is because she has nightmares about that night and she told me she should have been there with us she should have been there that night and she could have stopped it and all these things and all i could do was sit there and nod every once in a while and the things i wanted to tell here i couldnt cause i cant talk about my emotions with anyone and i dont blame her for that night i wanted to tell her that i mean she took care of us when my parents were busy or fighting or anything she was there when we were sick she missed so much school for us she cooked us dinner and lunch and breakfast she did everything she even let us hangout with her and her friends sometimes she just she did everything and that night she was out with her friends that was her time she deserved it and i wanted to tell her that and i look up to her so much and i wanted to tell her how proud i am of her i mean she may think she hasnt done much with her life but she's done alot and i wanted to tell her how happy i am for here and that she makes a great mom but again i cant i dont know how, i cant find the words, i cant find the courage i just cant do it does anyone like know someone whos like this or are you like this i just i dont know i'm confused and i just need peoples opinions and advice i guess (link)

I'm exactly like this....i know its hard but you have to try and force yourself to tell her...or i always find that writting helps...especially when i write a poem every emotion i'm feeling is easily npticed by my readers....so try writting it out....but definately don't give up on talking out!!!!

my subject lacked something that i couldn't fit in.. but like i have a guyfriend and we're pretty tight you know and we like playing games. so we usually talk via email so our we get responses every few hours (this might affect your answers).
so like we used to play word association games like
me: apple
him: orange
me: sun
etc. like the last word typed => what word comes to mind afterwards?
and then we got bored with that, so now we're playing think of a word using the last letter of the last word like
me: ipod
him: demon
me: name
and we're going to continue playing that for a while in our email threads.
but that's only two games! can someone please suggest some other fun games i could play with him via internet? we've also tried the "i say a sentence, then you say another sentence in response to it" etc. game but that only works well with like 20 people, not two cause you inadvertently include the sentences before. we also can't exactly play truth or dare / ask SUPER DUPER personal questions cause we recently got over that awkward stage in our friendship when i liked him & he didn't like me and visa versaa (timing makes all the difference..)
in addition, would you rather / truth or dare gets hard because we can't think of good questions to ask each other (anymore, at least)
in summary, i need some new ideas on what games to play with my close guyfriend without being awkward! thanks in advance (link)

Well my friend and i play 20 questions alot and that gets borring...so try asking questions but you have to aska question instead of giving an answer for example:
me:Whats your favorite fruit?
him:Why did you just ask that?
me:Why didn't you ask that?
and keep going from there it works just like the other ones...and if this example didn't help we got the idea off Whose Line Is It Anyway...that show has alot of fun stuff like that on there check it out

k im 15 & i wear tampons but everytime i wear it i need 2 wear a pad 2 but it still leaks i wear a regular absorbancy does this mean that my tampons sucks or that i need a bigger absorbancy (link)

You may need a better absorbancy but at the same time that causes risks...you might want to try different brands before you change the absorbancy so that you don't get hurt or sick.

Okay well there is this girl who I used to be like best friends with, up untill last week when i almost hit her in the cafe, but i didnt want to get introuble so i just cursed at her really load the whole 8th grade hurd me yelling, so ya she had blamed me for teling the whole school that she made out with this boy when she is goin out with this other boy, but i didnt she is the one who told the wrong person and that wrong person told the whole person so not my falt, so then she starts crying and i got mad becuase she has told ever friggen secret that i have ever told her and how many time have i cryed its messed up, other than theat she is just not a good friend, after 2 weeks of dateing her BF she had sex, but then he did her and ran,and she comes to school like naked and she is fat and never stops eating, the point is do you think im right for droping her as a friend or am i wrong? This just happened to me on Wednesday.This girl made a comment about me crying over the loss of a common friend and she said she wanted to fight me i told her to do....but my friends dragged me out. If she was any kind of a friend at all she would have belived you when you told her that you didn't tell anyone. Also if she's been telling all your buisness to everyone she doesn't deserve your friendship.You made a good choice keep up the good work

Okay he likes his ex you like him and he's saying I LOVE YOU too everyone. He's a major heartbreaker/flirt and that's not a good thing. He'll string you along till he gets bored and you don't want that kind of a relationship. You could be friends with him and talk to him but you don't want to date him definately. You don't want your heart to get broken like that trust me

Everytime I get a guy friend they always like me!! I do not like them like that. When they finally tell me they do I'm always honest and tell them I see them just as friends. They sometimes get hurt and distance themselves from me or act funny or mention it to me aall the time. I get guy advice from them, you know?
So here's one:
I haven't talked to Alex for about a year, year and a ahalf because he moved. Well he found me on myspace and called me. We laughed as usual. Then he mentioned how he said I changed and likes my physical appearance. I said thank you of course, then he started asking me relationship questions! (WHAT DO I DO WHEN THEY ASK ME? What's the best thing to say.)
Everytime I tell a guy my dream guy they take it as I'm describing them and I am NOT.
Anyways, we found out we are going to the same party/club in the city tonight (what a co-ink-e-dink!). He's gonna be there thinking I like him and try to show his friends and show off; I kno the story. But I'm single and ready to mingle but NOT with him! I know its gonna hurt him if he sees me like get a number/dance with guys. I don't want to hurt him. I just want to know how to handle this! It ALWAYS happens to me and I want to know if I'm doing the right thing. Now that I think about it... I should have told him from the start BUT he was tellin me about how his ex hurt him and how he wants to move on. I also think he thinks we were TALKIN TALKIN before he moved. N-O.

this happens to me alot as well but you are doing the right thing. If you don't like someone the way they like you you have to be honest....if you play like you like them back they'll be hurt worse. So if the guy likes you that way always be honest, eventually they'll understand.
