This will sound horrible but here goes the story. I was and am not really close to my dad's side of the family. I'm in total love with my mom's side but I basically loath my dad's side of the family--not my dad, though. It's mainly b/c his family hates us b/c of my mom--long story short: they hate us and they're total bitches to us. Anyways, well, my grandpa on my dad's side died today.
With the exception of our family, the rest of our whole entire fmaily lives in S. Korea [We live in US] So my dad is going to fly out there tomorrow or on Monday so he can attend the ceremony thingers. Well, the problem is that I feel really bad b/c I don't feel anything about my grandpa's death. I mean I was never close to him, I talked to him a couple of times--most of which being getting him a glass of water or something. Anyways, I guess what my question is:
What am I suppose to do? I don't feel a thing about my grandpa's death and I don't know how to comfort my dad. I'm just a useless person sitting there not really caring about the fact that my granpa died 3 hrs ago. Or am I in denial. GAH I don't know what I'm in. Help? (link)

Understand this:there is NOTHING wrong with you.If you didn't really care about him in the first place,there's no reason to just because he's dead.Don't even try to make yourself believe that you should care,because honestly,why start giving a shit about someone because something completely unavoidable happened to them?He's dead,and that's that.

The last day of school is on Tuesday, and the boy I like is moving away during the summer a few states away. It's not very far, but it still means that he won't be at my school next year.

Since he's willing to make some attempt at talking to you and he's showing some obvious interest by looking at you when you aren't expecting it,he more than likely is shy.
Just keep talking to him so that you can "crack his shell".Once it seems like you're both close to the same level of comfort with eachother,give him your number or something.From here you can see if he wants to hang out outside of school.

There would hardly be any major direct physical effects.The thing is,once you start doing it habitually (as in a set time...once every week,or whatever)you've thrown the possibility of becoming an alcoholic out there.Since you're only 15 the risk is pretty high.Alcohol IS a drug and it IS addictive.
Knowing this,if you still want to risk your future for a few nights of getting messed up and not even remembering it,then go right ahead.Just remember that you're putting yourself and those that you're close to at risk.

i cant stand living in my house anymore. my mom only comes here just to argue. she says ive changed alot and i know i have but thats all part of growing up. she always hits me and im sick of it. i dont know what to do. i want to leave so badly. she tells me that she doesnt love me as much as she used to. and that really hurts me. i just entered highschool and life is getting so hard for me. my grades are getting low, my boyfriend of 9 months broke up with me, my family is falling apart especially my mom she comes to my room to hit me or to scream at me everyday. she argues so mmuch. i cant stand this anymore. i ahte living here. i hate my new school i jsut hate my life. i really dont know what to do. i cant stand my mom. she is so annoying. im sick of her just coming into my room to argue. also, its summer break im supposed to be out with my friends having a good time and she says she sint going to let me go out anymor. she says im grounded for the whole summer. i want to go out with my friends, to the beach the pool the park the movies. i hate her! i dont know what to do. she wont let me do anything. my life is hard enough. please help (link)

I stopped reading right after "he always hits me and im sick of it".She may be your mom,but she doesn't have the right to do that.There are laws against it for a reason.
Just call the authorities and tell them how she treats you.If you're not comfortable with being put into a foster home or something,try to arrange moving in with another family member.
Edit:If you won't call the police,at least try to work things out with her since you love her.If staying in the household isn't an option for you,call another family member and see if they'll have you...even if it's just for a little while so things can cool down.
