Currently, I'm a full time college student. Hopefully, I finish my schooling...
So far, I apply my talents to everyday life. I gain inspiration for just listening to music.
advice
i really need help!!! i cant seem to stay organized at school and i have possiable tried every method out there. So does anyone have a suguestion that might work ???
Hey there!
Buy an organizer at the dollar store. It's cheap and effective. Also, you need folder for your syllabus. Buy a big calendar so that you can put little notes on them for school.
Finally, if you want to go cheaper you can download PIM's online for free.
I've seen the other day at the mall (Claires) they have an organizer which cost about probably less than $10.00. You can use this to record your appointments, schedules, or basically anything you would want to be reminded.
I hope this helps!
I hate reading. We have to accumulate so many points per quarter.Like we read a book then we take a test on it and you get points for the book depending on how many questions you got right on the test. But i hate reading. I don't like any kind of books and i think ive already read all the books in the library! Maybe not..but still..i hate reading! Does any one have any tips on how to like reading? Or any good books to suggest? and our quarter 2 cut-off date is jan 7th..i have no points!! i need to get 13..any tips on how to get my reading done?
I know what's it like in your situation because I hate reading but at the same time I like to write.
Have you thought of reading something you enjoy or stick with easy books, nothing difficult or complicated.
There are books online which are free which you can read--children's books, could be novels or anything that you are interested in.
If this still doesn't work get the summarized version of the books you are suppose to read that way it doesn't take much from your part to read so many pages.
Gosh, how can I make myself STOP procrastinating??? I mean I've got it bad. I come home from school and don't even start my homework till' about ten at night or after. I get on the computer...eat...clean my room...shower...anything but do homework, and it's making my grades suffer. If I would just start studying for tests a few hours earlier, I would do so much better. Any tips?
Hey there!
I've been in your situation and it's not easy. Here's what you can do...
*Firstly, find a quiet place you can study--away from the internet, bedroom, TV or anything that distracts you.
*Decide how much time you're willing to study and how long your study break is.
*To add fun in your studying, listen to some music could be anything as long as there is no vocals. Probably something like an upbeat or dance music.
Second:
You have to set your priorities... Make school your number one priority or at least just make an effort to study. Be sure to make time just for using the internet, watching TV, and other stuff.
Then if all still doesn't work, go to the school libray or any library to study because you can really concentrate there.
I hope this helps!

Hey there!
Algebra shouldn't be that hard. I took it in college. If you do have a math lab in school, take advantage of it by going there and getting help. Also, there are algebra books in the bookstore; you can just buy one. Better yet buy a algebra software. If all this still doesn't work there are sites that gives you free information on Algebra questions.
hey evry1
well i have A big spanish test coming up and i have to study over 200 words
any study tips??
please help!
i rate high
Hey there!
First of all figure out what your studying stlyle is. Then take it from there. Second, divide as to how much words you wanna study for example 20 words everyday. Study in the afternoon or morning if you prefer. I'm not sure if this works for you but try to memorize 3 words then test yourself by writing the words then the meanings on a piece of paper. Then do the same thing till your done with all the vocabularies. It should let you be able to retain what you learn.
If this still doesn't work, go to the library or bookstore to study since it makes you focus more and there's a lot of resources from books to magazines that you could use to aid in your studying.

Hey I'm having trouble picking what school I'm going to go to this year. I can choose this one school that goes from 12:30 to 3:30 and get all A's there. The only problem is that all the kids there are drugies and I probably wont be making a lot of friends. It's an alternative school so thats why its easy. My other option would be a school with regular hours but I would not be getting good grades there. Mabye C's and I have really bad anxiety about people so the other school would be better. It has only 5 people in each class room. But all my friends are at my school. I need some advice. Wat school should I choose?!?!?!?!?!?!
Hey there!
In the past, I was going through the same situation as yours axiety about people. I know how it feels and it does ruin ones life. But anyway, there are some ways you can do....
Have you thought of taking online courses or better yet be homeschooled.
I hope this helps!
I might fail one of my classes because my teacher doesn't explain the work or go over it. The class i'm in is so behind on work what can i do.
Hey there!
Have a talk with your professor at the end of class or anytime soon. Bring up the topic about your performance in class and talk about what options for you to pass the class.
It would really help if you asked your professor if you can do an extra credit work.
Also, participate in class this would help a lot to balance your grades. Remember, it's part of your grade too.

Hey there!
We have the same problem. In school it's hard for me to understand what the professors are lecturing. Although there are some things you can do...
Try this...
* Read your notes/book before you go to class.
* When you study do whatever you can to make it more interesting. For example, listen to some music while you study, in between your study session have breaks and eat a snack, could be anything.
* There are sites online that helps you build or increase your vocabulary. Do search for it online.
* Do search online for study tips. This could help you. For every person have different study habits.
* Lastly, talk to your professor and get some advice, I'm sure he/she will be willing to help you out.
*
Here's the deal, I hate school so much! I do really well, but I just hate it? Any suggestions?
Hey there!
I've been in your situation once. You know it couldn't be that bad. Try doing different study methods. Listen to music while studying. Or even better get a classmate to study with that makes it more less boring. Also, there is another way which I hope works. Find a way to fancy any student in your class that way you look forward to going to that class everyday.
You can also direct your hate emotion into a more productive one. For example, ask so many questions to your professor or keep answering his questions in class.
You could also, go to your professors office and talk to him and probably get suggestions on how to like or even tolerate his class.
I need a good way to study for my exam in Algebra 2...any suggestions?
Hey there!
Algebra is not really complicated. It just takes practice and some memorization. Here are my suggestions for your study tips....
* Form a study group. Either study with one classmate or more than 1. It's up to you. They say 2 heads are better than one. You can learn something too from your study buddy/es.
* There are sites online that ables you to make online quizes. Have a search whenever you have time. I use the test sites for my courses. It helps me a whole lot.
* Review your notes everyday so that you won't do the last minute thing which is to cram.
* Research online about algebra tutorials, algebra courses, or algebra lessons. There are sites online on this subject which is free somehow.
* Lastly, you can go to a computer store and buy an algebra software that's if you don't mind spending some money.
I hope these helps!
I have a horrible problem with my face getting red anytime i read in front of the class or do a speach. TOmorrow, i have to give a speach in english & I was wondering, if anyone had any ideas to yhelp me stop that... i odnt want stuff like " just be confident".. things like, is there anything you can take or if makeup or things like that would work. pleeease answer.. anyone who answer, i`ll give a 5
Hey there!
I get nervous too when speaking in front of class. There are several things you can do.
* Practice relaxation techniques. This helps in making you more comfortable.
* Have enough time to do your speach preferrably in front of your friends or whomever.
* Finally, this last one I learned from my online friend. Before you give your speach, pick 3 spots on the back wall behind your classmates. One in the center, the other one on the left and the next one on the right. Look at all of these or any order of the spots and I'm sure everything will go fine.
I hope these helps!
Hey
In like two weeks im going to be a freshman in high school.. what can i do to stay organized.. ive never open a locker lock before and i was in the same school for 9 years before this.. can u help me and give me some tips on how to stay organized??
Hey there!
Although it would seem like a hard thing to do but trust me there are simple ways to make your life easier....
* Buy Folders just for sticking your assignments. Different colors the better.
* Buy address book so that you can write or jot down the phone number or addresses of your friends/classmates.
* Buy an organizer--it has everything in it. To do lists, calendar, weekly assignments, and etc.
(This one is the complete one that you need). If you can't afford the expensive onces there are other stores that you can get it for a cheaper price.
* Lastly, you can try to download PIM online. They got good softwares others for freeware (free) and shareware (try it before you buy it).
I hope these helps!
