PLease help me.My dog is always hiding under the bed and is like scared of our family.I want him to feel comfortable and not be scared.What can i do?
If the answer is gonna be take him to a vet forget it.

If you got your dog from a pound, then he most likely afraid of getting abused or neglected..just close the doors to any room with a bed in it..and just show that you care and that you love him..take him for walks down the street or block.. go in the backyard and play fetch with him..once he realizes and outside world, he will realize that he doesnt need a bed to hide under..

so i REALLY wanna be a freshman cheerleader but the problem is when i get in front of the judges i like freeze up and forget stuff like last year i messed up on my cheer and wasn't very loud cuz i was like omg judges so does anyone know how i could get over my fear of the judges?

Once you shave there you might want to shave there everyday.or every other day..because once it grows back..man it itches like hell....just trim it down there before you shave and use a lot of shaving cream..
and you dont have to shave down there if you dont want to, a little hair shouldnt scare a guy off..

I feel so bad that my mama and me dont always get along. She's my real mom and we have an arguement like 75 percent of the time we're together. she usually starts it. she'll yell at me about my attitude. and i would yell at her and shell get all mad at me and i get mad at her. sometimes she comes to apologize. but one time i told her off when she was trying to apologize then she yelled at me and she doesnt apologize anymore. now when we argue, it wears off. sometimes i go 2 days without talking to her but i dont want to. i wish i could get along with her. the sad thing is that i really need her. i cant wish for her to go away because i need her no matter how much we dont get along. she just doesnt understand me she tries to help me but ends up making things worse and i know its not her fault we just argue more than we spend time together even when we are spending time together. im sorry this is so long but i dont know what to do. can somebody help me?
Just explain yourself..if she doesnt apologize anymore, then you should apologize..and if you dont feel like you owe an apology..just explain to her how you feel and why you feel that.. it might make her understand more..its not as easy as its sounds, but it will help you in the longrun

um.. ok i go to a catholic school and i'm going through rough times. i know many of my friends who've cut themselves well i was doing my s.studies project and i was using sharp scissors and i was questioning myself if it would go through my skin b/c the last time i had i tried to cut myself it didnt work.. well this time it did. so know i have 3 cuts on my arm, i seriously regret doing it, i showed my mawmaw and im never doing it again BUT i have a passion play tommorow and i'm afraid that my religion teacher will see it.. should i be afraid or is there any tips to hide it b/c a big band-aid will be noticable. thanks for the help

dont try to make it too obvious that you're trying to hide it, because then the teacher will know your hiding something and be even more curious.. try rinsing it out so there's on scars on there, not too much red..and then use cover-up..and unless she asks you about it, dont say anything..and go about your normal routine, it makes things look normal and nothing to be suspicious about.. but if worst comes to worse tell her you have a cat..or that you laid down on a bed and didnt see the scissors there..

I have a 5 year old male miniature dacshound. His problem is that he pees inside the house on the carpets when we want him to go pee outside. He is potty trained but still goes to the carpets like he does not care. We smack his bottom whenever he does and sometimes spray a dog and cat sour spray in his mouth to basically tell him "no" but nothing seems to get through his head. If I don't get to controlling his actions soon my parents are seriously considering sending him to the pound. What should I do?
Well its hard to teach a new dog, new tricks.. but anyway.. cage train him..thats where whenever you leave the house, put him in there..and whenever he does pee in the house put him the age for a couple hours..its really hard to do and watch your dog get punished..but if you want to keep your dog :-)..its works.. believe me..and eventually his cage will become his security..

My best friend is 16 now but she has been getting abused by her dad since she was old enough to walk. I saw him punch her in the face one time and bang her head against a wall. I am really scared for and her sister because I have seen him hit her too. She's asked me not to tell but Im scared that if I keep quiet that one day he might really hurt her. We tryed calling the police on him one time but they wanted to press charges against us and not him. I dont know what I should do and I dont know how I can help her.
School guidance counselor..bring your friend and some proof..such as your sister and the bruises/marks..if you dont have enough time to go to a guidance cousnelor then go to the principal or a teacher..they are by law required to help and go to the police.. I dont see how its fair that a child should get abused more or less for walking and breathing.. listen..i know its betraying your best friend..but it can be serious..you HAVE to go to a counselor..and someday, your friend will thank you..

Just stay strong, life gets better :-).When I say stay strong, I mean don't go back to the bad habits, they wont get you anywhere. (Trust me, first hand experience here). You just need to find better friends thats all. ahh High standards arent fun to live up to, whoever is putting this pressure on you just tell them to back off and that you need some space for a little bit. Call a hotline if you dont want to bring it up, they are completely confidential. Your parents wont find out if you called one and they can actually really help you. Its like writing in a diary except you get a response back. Its also good knowing that the people on the other line are volunteers, they dont get paid, they are there because they care. If you dont know of one 1-800-SUICIDE is a 24 hours one..

I like this boy called Daniel, but I don’t know what to do! Today in PE my friends were saying, "Let’s call Lauren's (my) crush Daz, as a code name. As in Daniel" (they have these sad code names for the boys they fancy, like carrot and cabbage). hey I am soo good at acting and im in an improv group in ft.collins!
