The patch is a good form of birth control but you still get your period. I like it the best because it has less side effects than anything else I have looked into. I am intending to get on it after I have my son.

Hello :} im sorry if this is long. okay so there is this guy(His name is Andre, one of my guy friends knows him...) and this all started when i read a love story and i pictured what the guy and the girl in the story would look like. so i went to school the next day and i noticed the guy in my dream looked just like Andre and ever since then i see him everywhere. at my locker, in the halls, passing classes in the line for the bus, on the bus EVERYWHERE(at my school the girls and guys have to split the gym and he's on the boys side and when the guys had to share the gym with the girls in groups...i was in his group)so i notice that whenever im on the bus and im talking to my friends in the corner of my eye i can see him look my way(im not sure if he's looking at me though :/ )and when i was coming out of the change room i saw him and his friend outside of my change room(which is weird because his is on the other side of the gym closer to the door)and he was looking at me and smiling. since i didnt know if he was smiling at me or if he was smiling and looked at me i just looked away. And i went to a restaurant and got a fortune cookie and it said "a distant romance will look more promising"....ya i kind of got freaked out. and i also went to this physic(i was at niagara falls and it looked interesting....dont judge)and asked her about my love life. she said that i have feelings for someone but i will become more open about it and soon tell them out of guilt...now i dont know what to do.(i saw him twice today by the way) AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO... Just try to talk to him. Even as just friends about basic things. You never know, he may just like you and open up and tell you. Maybe he likes you and hasn't said anything because he's shy or isn't sure if you like him back. It may be a little scary but you never know until you try and trying can't hurt. :) Good luck.

my mother is currently in jail until February for a financial crime and I am her 14 year old daughter. My dad said to find and write her a card to send her there since her birthday will be coming up. I have no problem doing this but some would say it is a bad thing since I would be supporting a criminal. She is your mother. Nobody has a right to say anything to you for supporting her. You have every right to. Also it would show her that you are thinking about her and I'm sure that receiving a card from you would make her smile.

Okay so I have got an Ipad 2 with 32 GB
I updated the ios 7 on it and after that I turned it on and there was just the apple sign. But it didnt turn on at all. I thought this was part of the update so I waited 2 days but Its still in the same situation. Every now and then the apple sign goes away and theres just the black scren. Then there was this iTunes sign that I should plug it in with iTunes. So i did that, and i updated the latest verion of iTunes, then plugged the cable in to my ipad but iTunes couldnt find my device. Have her take a pregnancy test. You never know for sure. When I first became pregnant, I didn't know and only thought I was sick due to stress but as it turns out I was 5 weeks pregnant. Or she can go to Planned Parenthood and they can give her a pregnancy test and she will have their full support so it will be easier. They are professionals and will help her.

Okay I'm 18 and about 10 days ago me and my boyfriend of 2 years had sex and we normally only have it every once in a while. Every time we used a condom and have no contact before hand that would lead to pregnancy that way and none of the condoms broke. But ever since then my breasts have been really sore and at first I thought it was just bruising but now i've started to freak myself out over the fact that it could be an early sign of pregnancy. I have no idea why they would hurt in the first place unless it is the week before i'm supposed to get my period and well as far as I know it isn't. I had my last period end a couple days before we had sex. We are both extremely scared and to be honest this is why I usually say no to having sex. It may not be pregnancy, your chest may just be growing which is normal. If you're that scared, take a test but you more than likely aren't and can worry yourself into having false symptoms which is completely psychological.

Hi, I'm a thirteen-year-old girl who likes girls. I just don't see boys in that way. When I think about my future, I see myself marrying a girl rather than a guy.
So, this question is strange, but I'll try my best to have it make sense.
I don't really remember who I had crushes on in elementary school, but I remember that most of them were boys. I had crushes on girls sometimes as well, but when I did, I tried to ignore the feeling.
When I started middle school, I started to become more and more girl-crazy, and I thought about guys less. I decided to embrace my feelings and be myself.
Now I don't like guys at all and only want to be with a girl. I also have a girlfriend now, and I'm so happy to be with her. My previous relationships were with guys, but I always ended it because it didn't feel right at all.
But I also know that I'm only thirteen, and my feelings could change. People sometimes tell me that it's probably just a phase and I will become straight later. But I can't bear for that to happen. I only want to marry a girl, and I cannot see myself in a relationship with a guy. Even the thought of liking a guy disgusts me.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I'm worried about becoming straight. I don't want that to happen and I don't want my feelings for girls to be "just a phase" like people say.

I went through that at your age and in the end I found myself and now I classify myself as bisexual but more attracted to women. It's perfectly normal and it's who you are and may or may not change.

Your parents can get your boyfriend for statutory rape and he could be charged as a child molester and go to prison. Also you should report that principal because that is considered sexual harassment on a child and is very illegal, it could also lead to him trying worse things with other young girls or you. It is also not his business to know those types of things about his students. As for you being 12 with a 16 year old, go play with your friends and dolls. You are not ready and not near mature enough for sex. Don't try to grow up too fast, you have other things that are far less significant than having sex like your grades in school, at your age.

So i dropped my ipod from a roof at its screen got destroyed, the screen worked but i had giant cracks and everything else worked fine. Then my father tried to fix it and successfully fixed it, but destroyed my wi-fi antenna. Another slight problem was when i pressed on the left side of the ipod it would go white...3 days later i dropped it again and it slightly cracked, the white screen got worse and now my ipod got stuck with it, i have to press really hard to make it colorful again...is there something i can do??

Contact Apple and see if they can fix it for you. If they can, there will be a charge. And buy a hard-shell case with a screen protector once it is fixed for good.

I've been having sex more often and I thought the best thing to do was to get on birth control to be safe.
I just feel uncomfortable talking to my parents about it. They've both asked me because I've been with my boyfriend for two years.
I was online scheduling an appointment to see my doctor and my mom was telling me what to fill in. Birth control was on there and she was like, "There's not need for that, you're not having sex right?" I knew that would've been the easiest way to say it but I said no. Then she proceeded on about how I was a good girl and stuff.
So I don't want to tell her because I don't want her to see me as a "bad girl" now.

You are an adult, even if your parents see that you went to a doctor for birth control, they cant stop you or tell you that you can't take it. You will not be a "bad girl" for wanting birth control, you are trying to protect yourself and they should be proud of you for that.
P.S. I'm a teen mom because I wasn't on birth control. Using it to be sure is a good way for them to respect you.

No. You cannot get yourself pregnant. The only way you can get pregnant is if you have sex with a guy and he gets off inside you or the condom breaks. There are plenty of books you can read about these types of things (your local library may have some) or you can try to speak to a gynecologist and have him/her give you information. Or you can ask a woman you feel comfortable with. Don't be scared to ask questions, it is perfectly normal to be curious.

The only way to tear your hymen is through vaginal penetration. Anal has nothing to do with your hymen.
