my school is having a talent show. i dont know why, but i cant sing in front of people. i've sang in front of my friend and she said i was really good. i think im good too, but im still scared about singing in the talent show. I have the perfect song and i keep telling myself i can do it but im still really nervous!! help me. how could i make it so i could sing and not be shy or scared? (link)

Since you don't have a problem singing in front of one person, try increasing the number to three or four. Gradually increase the number of people [if possible] until you have quite a few. If there's any open mics in your area try singing at one of those. They're usually held in small restaurants or coffeehouses.

when i get older i want to have big money. i want to be able to buy a home for 1,000,000 +
how will i get rich? im 16 now..so should i just get a job and keep saving and live at home with my parents for 10 more years or something? i just dont know how these people with so much money do it

Well.......honestly you shouldnt worry so much about money, but if you really want to be rich doctors and lawyers make alot of money. If you have any musical talent, start a band, make a demo tape, and send it to some record companys. If none of that works then you could always sell lemonade on the corner of your street....for about 50 years.

Really it depends on where she works i guess. If its in an office maybe something like a polo and khakis. If its something more casual maybe an "appropriate" t-shirt and jeans.

now im not blowin my own trumpet or anything, but im a pretty good singer. recently i entered this singing competition, but im getting really neervous about the first heat. i hardly ever sing in front of people (except at my singing lessons) and im getting really nervous - its on the 24th of jan and i dont even know what song im going to sing! can anybody help with calming down about this, coz im really scared im going to do REALLY badly on the day! Sing in front of your family and friends. If theres an open mic in the area sing at that. Those really help you get over your fear of playing/singing in front of people. I was really nervous about my first one but i did fine and at the next concert i wasnt nervous at all.

okay... well me and a few of my friends are starting a band, and allison wants to play guitar but she has no friggin clue what shes doing!(iv'e been playing guitar for a few years and she just started like last week) and she was going to be a singer in the first place, but i have no clue how to tell her that she doesn't know how to play guitar, and NO i can't just go up to her and say "you can't play guitar" or "you suck" because i'm not the kind of person that can do something like that. help please! Why dont you have her and yourself play for the rest of the members of the band and ask them who is better? If shes that bad then theyll definately pick you. Maybe she could play rhythm [backup] guitar or something if she gets pissed off.

I am 13 and a girl who has never had a boyfriend and I think think this is my chance.There is this boy who has gone to mostly every school I have gone to(were in the same grade).But I think he likes me.Its like he has been drooping clues like he stares at me all the time with this serious look on his face,he saved me one time(if thats what you wanna call it)because I was walking and I wasn`t waching where I was going so I was about to bump into the wall then he said somthing to me then that made me look up,and his friend heeps on looking at me.So how do I figure out if he likes me without talking to him and can you give me information on how to tell if a boy likes you.

ok well....why dont you just ask him if he likes you or not i mean...itll be alot easier on you that way instead of having to worry about it all the time. Its better to find out than to wonder. If he does like you then good, and if he dosent then dont worry too much about it because he wasnt the one.

For any tuning youll either need a tuner or another instrument. Its tuning on a sharp instead of a natural note. For example the lowest note in natural tuning is E. In tuning a half step down it would be a D sharp.

Recently, I've thought about trying to learn the guitar. I don't really know anything about guitars but I also play the clarinet. Does knowing how to read that kind of music help in reading guitar music? And is it really hard to learn it when first starting out? (link)

Its not hard at all. Ive played trumpet and yes it does help as any musical experience will with any instrument youre trying to learn. With a decent teacher and practice itll be extremely easy to learn.

i want to know what kind of guitar to get. not too expensive, but not really cheap. and also what kind of amp? i have no idea about anything, but i really want to get a guitar and then take lessons to learn how to play. a friend of mine has an ibanez. im pretty sure thats what it was called...so anyways is that a good kind? anything about guitars would help me out a lot. also..is there other kinds besides bass? im not going to be in a band or anything, maybe one day since my friend is already in one, but so is bass what i want? or what? please just tell me anything i need to know...and what to get. thanx! Ibanez is a really good guitar brand. My friend has one and I like it...alot..I have a crate. It might be kind of hard to find but theres a pack that comes with an amp, picks, and a power cord. Crate amps are really good if you want to buy the amp seperately.

i've been playing guitar for a while now, and think i should take a step up from my junk old one. i don't have the deepest pockets, but might be able to manage around $400 after a while. I'm not so much into the les paul or stratocaster hype and am looking for something different and good, but not too gothic looking, my main choices so far are the fender cyclone, the ESP viper, and the epiphone flying V. any suggestions are appreciated, thanks (link)

Well I have a Crate and i have to say that thing kicks ass. Its only about $150 in the pack thing that comes with an amp, picks, a strap, and a power chord. Im going to be getting a B.C. Rich Warlock soon too but that might be a little too "Gothic Looking" for you.

I'm trying to learn how to play guitar, & I don't relly want to ahve to go get lessons, so I wanted to be self-taught, but I don't know any iste where I can learn how to play or know where to buy any books to learn how to play.
I don't know any chords or keys or anything, I am JUST starting so I'd need like the things what show you where to put your fingers & how to tune the guitar & stuff
so if anyone could show me a site that I could learn form or where to buy these books I would really appreiciate it!

First thing: Lots and lots of picks. I go through like 4 picks a week so you need alot of picks.
