i have like a muffin top kind of stomach.. but only in the front, i dont have big love handles but i do crunches every night and whenever i do them, i only feel the burn on the upper part of my stomach, and i want to lose the fat on my lower stomach. so do you guys think that it only will help my upper stomach or will it also work for my lower stomach? what are some other excersises i could do to make my stomach smaller? htanks (link)

crunches just work the muscles ( anerobic excersize)
if you want to burn fat, you need to do areobic excersize ( running)
also, you cant just loose weight in one spot
i would suggest joining your school track tream.
hey , you might even have a 6 pac under a little fat!

During the winter i always get really depressed for some reason. So i try to keep myself really busy so im not thinking to much, but that only works for a little while. I was wondering if that happens to anyone else, like you feel depressed during the winter? I think its really weird, and also besides just keeping myself busy what else could i do, whithout having to talk to someone or take anything? Bc already its hitting me and winter is a longggg season. Well any advice would be helpful, thanks :) (link)

I want a pair of skinny jeans, like around $20 or so. I know that's a little cheap of me, but I am broke, need a pair of pants that I can wear, and... that's it. I have gone to Marshall's and T.J. Maxx, but you can never tell what they're going to have and what size they're going to have it in. Any help please? I need a pair by Sunday. Oh, and straight-leg is okay too. Straight leg or skinny. "Jeans can be really expensive and a pain to shop for. My most recent sucesses were cozy skinny jeans found at forever21 ( $21) and anchor blue ($25).
i was shocked at the prices and expected them to die with in a few months but its been 7months and they are fine.
heres what i do to avoid rips:
wash them inside out
in a somewhat gentle cycle
hand them dry
and dont be afraid to wear one pair of jeans twice before washing
it could double the life of your jeans!!!!

ok i KNOW that i am over weight... im 4' 11" and i weigh around 160-170. i am in karate, and i do have excersice indused asthma. I am really bad at running b/c of the asthma, and i am pretty weak...
i am so busy b/c my week is filled with homework, orchestra, 4-H, karate, and other stuff. Is there any ideas you could give me to help me loose some weight???
yeah, it makes me sad, b/c i KNOW i DONT look like i weigh that much, but then my dad told me i should lose weight, and so did my doctor! so it kinda ticked me off when my dad said that!!!

Its tough having asthma, but you can build up the strengh of your lungs by working out. Start out simply walk home from school every day and make sure to watch what your eating. This sounds crazy but try to eat 5-6 SMALL meals a day.and dont forget breakfast, if you have all of your calories a day in one meal your body has gone into starvation mode and will hold on to every calorie and ounce of fat you consume.
Example:
breakfast- bowl of (healthy cereal) special k and banana
snack 1- granola bar and apple sause
lunch- water bottle and veggie wrap with baggie of grapes
snack 2-carrot sticks with nonfat ranch
dinner- peice of steak ( size of deck of cards=1 serving) wih grilled asaperigas and baked potato
snack 3- tortilla chips with salsa
things that can ruin a healthy meal:
mayo
soda
regular chips
fried things
cookies
remember: there is no such thing as a "never" food, just "once in a while" foods

I have about 4 pairs of jeans that I wear regularly. I have been wanting to buy another, and I was wondering your thoughts on the quality of certain brands. Does a higher price mean higher quality?
The brands that I have are:
Mudd(these recently ripped right in the crotch, so are becoming a purse.)
Old Navy(these were hand-me-downs from my little sister)
Aeropostale(My most comfortable)
Sevens(These are definitely my best, verifying the Quality is higher with higher prices idea)

I just got this dress (by INC International Concepts) and i really want to show it to my friend, but i can't find it online. Is is a short green dress (its not like solid green, but the main color is green) with 3/4 length sleeves. It has a Black trim and across the top neckline there are big gemlike things...its sounds tacky, but its not.
If anyone can find the dress for me i would greatly appreciate it!!

its bad for your posture and doesnt really have anything to do with your eyes, I just thought I'd throw that in there. Sorry for any confusion.

Since this is my first year of highshcool, I've been using the computer for double hours longer :school work, school courses, hoemwork which can take from 3-5 hours, and possibly more.
I guess I've been goign on alot because for random times my eyes would start to hurt and start to burn and water just randomly.
Is there anything i can do? It's making me mad that people keep teasing me that im crying (link)

All of that time in front of the compuret really damages your health, not just your eyes. Every hour, take at least a 15 min break from the computer.
get up and walk around. Its really bad for you to just stare at a LCD screen for so long.
and make sure you're not slouching
that can be an issue as well.

I hate AP history.
For me, the best way to study is with my nerdier friends. They keep me on track and we play this game called "Nerd squad" loosesly based on our schools academic team, which is sort of like Jepeordy.
for things like IDs ( identifications), we make notecards and buzz in against each other. For things like DQs ( Discussion Questions)
we have to adress all parts of the question and have 1 min to answer to get full points
this makes studying fun and it stays in my brain.
I have to hear things and say things in order to remember them.

okay. I'm kinda freaking out right now.
let me start from the top...
on sunday the 21st of october, i started birth control for the first time. [[ One week ago ]] the Nuva Ring. and i'm supposed to wait for 1 week before having sex.
well last night my boyfriend stayed the night.. and well, we couldn't help ourselves. lol. and we had sex about 10 hours before it would be 7 days. so i waited 6 days and 14 hours... but we did use a condom. THEN this morning we did it again, in the heat of the moment, I just figured it would be fine. it had been 7 days. so we didn't use a condom [[ we were out of them anyway ]]
but i'm really nervous about the whole thing. If I get pregnant, it'll ruin both of our lives. we're only 17. [[ i know, 17 year olds shouldn't have sex ]] i've heard all the lectures. just please help!! (link)

The only 100% way to be sure you wont get pregnant is to abstain, but im not going to lecture you about it.
Yes, there is a chance that you got pregnant. No birh control is 100%.
talk to your boyfriend, he needs to know whats going on.
wait a few days and then buy some pregnancy tests and test yourself ( in the morning).
If you are pregnant, make sure your bf is going to help you through this and DEFINATELY talk to your parents.
If not, always be careful and talk tou your doctor.
