I'm a freshman in highschool and I think I pretty much messed up my GPA. I'm usually an A student but getting used to the school and teachers and their was of teaching was really hard. And not to mention that I'm in all Honers so it's even harder. Well, I'm used to it now and I'm fine but all my grades the first and second 6 weeks were pretty low(low B's and C's I know it doesn't sound that bad but I know I can do better and since then I have.)so my GPA is 5.7 as of now(out of a possible 7.0). I want to be in the top 10% of my class but with a 5.7 I know that it is prolly not happening right now. If I work really hard this semester and get the grades I know I can get (A's and high B's)will it help me enough to get atleast a 6.2? (link)

Talk to your teacher's about that...but I'm sure you're GPA will go way up if you bring your grades up to As and Bs

How often should you put on lotion on your face once you have put it on? Like every hour or something? I use it to keep it moist and for it not to peel or get rid of pimples! Thanks!!! (link)

If you have an oily face make sure you use oil free lotion...you should put it on in the morning and at night...if its cold once more during the day so your face doesnt dry out while youre out.

This is so embarrassing but i feel like my breath smells really bad all the time... i brush and use listerine twice a day and still cant get rid of it. Is there any good products out there or any suggestions on what to do? I don't think gum would help that much.

It's deffinatly NOT gonna go away in a day...to lose the redness believe it or not Visine (eye drops) work for me and my friends...but for huge zits the #1 thing i found that works absolutly wonderful is Clinigue Acne Solution spot healing gel.

I really don't understand how your doctor told you that you're anemic without explaining what it is. Anemia is one of the more common blood disorders it occurs when the number of healthy red blood cells decreases in the body...go back to your doctor...i dont know how it's possible for him not to explain.

I have the weirdest problem. Everytime I have a little sickness, I think it's huge. Like if I have a headache, i think it's a brain tumor. If I have a stomach ache I think I'm gonna hurl or that I have the flu. Yes, I know it's weird and freaky. But I need help!! i wanna stop. Please help me (link)

Sounds like you're really paranoid. Tell your parents or an adult you trust is all I can suggest really. I think you need some counceling if you really want to stop thinking like you are.

Talking to her is the only thing you can do..if she seems resistant than you know that the friendship needs to end..nobody deserves to be treated like crap and if shes doing that then shes not a real friend.

Theres this one girl in my dorm...she CANT spell. A freshmen in college and she cant spell little words, she simply doesnt know how. The word good, she spells gud. She cant even spell little words and this concerns me. She isnt doing well in her classes at all because of this reason. Me and my roommate edit her papers and we try to tell her that she really needs to learn how to spell properly, but she doesnt care. She cant rely on me and my roommate to save her but on every paper. Should I tell her to go to a tutor (which she probally wont go), or let her fend for herself? I tried to help her learn, but I get mad at her everytime I try.

She needs pro. tutoring..if she refuses to go then don't edit her papers...she needs to figure out how to be an adult about this and realize what she needs help in..tell her that.

O.K. This is sad and I have no idea what to do. My best friend, Haley, wants to kill herself. She's never met her dad and her 200 pound 7 year old brother gets all the attention and her mom's a total slut. She gets books about death and she's writing letters to the devil and God. I don't know what to do about her. She's threatened me that she will kill herself and it scares me that she will. I don't know what to say or think about this. We met last year but got really close. She's two years older than me and I could really use advice on what to tell her. I need help, or my friend does. Please don't be sarcastic about this because I'm scared and you will only make it worse by replying rusely. Anyone who answers nicely, I'll love you forever.

You need to let someone know...it sounds like she's serious (cuz theres some people out there that do that for attention. This isn't something you can handle by yourself..she obviously needs some kind of counceling wether it be in school or outside somewhere. She MIGHT get angry at you at first for telling someone but think of it this way..would you rather have a dead friend or an a friend who'll get angry for a short while? Believe me in the long run if she does get help..she will thank you. Do the right thing and don't let this problem just sit there.

You need to confront him about it..youve got nothing to lose. If he supposedly likes you than you'll know that there's time for advancement..if he doesn't than oh well it's not like he's the only guy you'll ever meet. Getting him hooked on you should be the least of your concerns. As for the carebare..whatever you feel like..if you feel that you really don't want to hold on to it than just give it back..i think it'll stir something up in his mind.

I was having a conversation with a guy about sex between the same sex, and of course he was very excited to hear about my girlfriends and I open mind in the subject. After I told him about a personal experience, he felt free and conferrable to tell about his with another man. The feeling of disappointment and discuss was automatic, and he asked me to explain why? where is the difference? why was it okay for me, and so wrong for him? I was out of words, there where no explanations, this has never been open for discussion. At this point I think that maybe if I can't be open minded about both ways of same sex relationships then I need to rethink my ideas of two girls together.
How does everyone feel, and if the same as me, how would you explained. why do we accept to girls and not two men? (link)

Okay maybe i'm just over-reacting, but, me and my boyfriend have just recently become sexually active, and we had sex the first time without a condom, i know i know bad decisio, but it wasn't hardcore sex.. it was a put it in take it out kind of thing. Like an experiment. But non-the-less, it wasn't protected. But we've had sex about 3 or 4 times since then, in the last 3 months. I had my period after the first time we had sex, and I know for a fact none of the other condoms have broke. But, for some reason, I haven't had my period in over a month, going on two! I've taken two pregnancy tests and they both said i wasn't pregnant, but i just cant' shake this feeling that I am!! Why haven't I had my period!? I know this is long, but I really need advice. You need to get checked out by a doctor...periods might be affected by changing what you eat or exercise or even stress...so I suggest get checked out.

I am thirteen and I have lots of friends at school but my best friend is scared to spend the night at my house. In order to try to get her to, I have to either pay her money or give her my most valuable possesion. It's really gay. If she spends the night at my house, she has to have another friend come WITH her and she picks people that I hate to come so she's never been over to my house! It doesn't really sound like she would be considered a "best friend"...I would never have to pay my friends to spend the night..most ask to. You need to talk to her about it...and if she still does the samething than it's really not worth giving her your valuables...sounds like she's just using you.

It doesn't matter wether you're in high school or wherever..it's all based on how you and your "partner" handle things. It's true that while you're in high school you're not gonna be mature about things especially your love life but same thing happens even when you're out of high school...all I can tell you is you've got PLENTY of time and high school love should be your least concern.
