Hi, this is Kate. I'm 17. My life motto is 'Live Laugh Love', I really think those are great words to live by and I'm planning to have it made into a tattoo. I'm not religious but I love learning about different religions. I write stories based on things that have happened to me because sometimes I have days where I just think 'wow that sounds like something out of a book'. I've finished 3 stories and I'm about to start my first horror story..very exciting. I believe in fairy tale love...the kissing in the rain, staring at the stars on the rooftop kind of love..Why? Because I'm in that kind of love and its been the greatest time of my life. And it didn't come easy.
I'd love to help you with whatever issues come your way. I've been in relationships where the guy was too old for me, the guy was my best friend, the guy just wanted to get some. I've been the other woman but I'm not proud of it. I've been the girl who waits years to be with the guy she wanted.
I come from the type of home where everyone seems okay and then when everyone leaves its chaos. My parents should have been divorced years ago and I can't stand to be around either of them so for now I'm going day by day, only coming home to sleep and counting down the days until I go to college in August.

Me and my girlfriend have been dating for 7 months now and going on our 8th, we was so great the first 5 months and then we started fighting over nothing, and i hate it when i fight with her because i love her and i dont want to lose her and i dont know what to do to stop the fighting. so what should i do? first you have to figure out what you fight about. if you know what the problem is then you can avoid situations that cause these fights. For instance if she thinks that you are too flirtacious with other girls (not saying that you are) but you could hang out with her and other girls, giving all the attention to her so she knows that she is the only one on your mind. i think you should add more to your question so people can help you better if they know certain situations that make you guys fight. if its not any certain situation then just try talking to your girlfriend. im sure she will be just as willing as you are to end the fighting. tell her that if you guys feel a fight coming on then just step back, take a breather and think about it. is the topic you're fighting over worth it? don't nag at each other over little things. hope i helped a little, good luck, you can make it work.

So everytime i like a guy, and they start to like me, i stop liking them like the second after, and i have no idea why, it makes me mad, and i feel horrible about the boy. I don't have commitment problems, and i know i'm actually a pretty good girlfriend, i just, don't know what to do. my best friend had this problem. she would like a guy then as soon as they started getting close she would find a reason why she didnt like them. i guess its just not a good match. your mind is telling you that he's not for you. just go for someone else or just enjoy being single, single can be fun. just take your time, if you realize you don't like him then don't stress over it.

this is complicated, i've been in a similar situation with my best guy friend. this is what i told him :
i used to like you before you were going out with your girlfriend, i didn't tell you before because i didn't want to ruin anything because i know you're really happy, i just you to know that although i've forced myself to get over you i still have potential feelings but i don't want this to change our anything because i would never want to risk something that really makes you happy, i just wanted you to know.
something like that, my friend was really understanding and didn't mind that i told him because we trust each other and he knows i wouldn't want to ruin anything for him. hope your friend is as understanding as mine and i hope that gave you some idea of what to say...good luck, women are tricky, but they're also caring so just go for it

i love when a guy has the guts to tell an embarassing story about themselves, like the first time they tried to snowboard and fell down the hill flat on their face or when you said something stupid. it makes us trust guys more when they can open up to us.

Hi, I have never been to Maui before but I am going in March. I was wondering if the sea is warm and what the normal temperature is.
We are near the Kamaole Beaches.
Last March I was in Puerto Vallarta and I found it quite cold. Should I expect the same weather in Maui?

the ocean waters are deffinately warm the normal temperature for hawaii is about 80-85. in march it might be a little rainy but the rain dries up within an hour there. its so nice i've been to hawaii 6 times so if you have any more questions you can put them in my inbox

I just bought/rented a lot of clothes and equipment to go skiing within the next few weeks. I've never gone before. I'm pretty excited but I wanted to also try snowboarding. Would learning to ski first be a better idea? I heard it would be easier to learn that but I wanted some more opinions... could I do both in one day or should I wait till next time to snowboard? skiing is easier to learn but snowboarding is easier to get better at. my friend wanted to learn how to snowboard so we went yesterday. the first time she got on the board she fell over but she took one lesson and by the end of the day she was going down a 100ft hill by herself without falling. i love snowboarding and i think its alot more fun than skiing. if you do skiing and snowboarding in one day than you wont have as much time to perfect either one of them so i'd say just pick one and maybe do the other the next time you go to the ski park.

15f. I met a guy at a party who I liked at the time and wanted to hook up with, and I didn't tell him, but he told me he doesn't hook up with girls because he doesn't want his parents to find out. Now he calls me every so often and we have long conversations, and he tells me that asking this one girl out was the biggest mistake of his life. i was in your exact situation not too long ago. tell him you like him. i told my "cuddly friend" that i liked him, but i waited a long time to tell him and he got back together with his ex. so tell him before its too late because now me and this guy are best friends. so if you dont get a boyfriend out of him you might get a really good friend

JcPenny has almost every color of sheet sets if you need sheets and they have a comforter that will match your colors, i was looking at it the other day. Brylane Home deffinately has those colors for comforters but they're just solid colors most of the time. Brylane home always have alot of sales too. Try Sears also because they're supposed to have a nice "home" section.

just start it off like a joke like tell her "we should bang sometime" and just laugh about it. tell her something like "you know you want my sexy body" if you're cell phone rings and its in your pocket tell a girl to get it for you. say you're too tired to get it. one of my guy friends did that and he had two girls on him in about a minute, one of them included me, lol. all of these thing that i've told you are from experience because two of my guy friends say this to me. it starts as just kidding around but now i like one of them. so it deffinately could work. do it with you're best girl-friend. make sure they're single and dont like anyone though. good luck

i haven't done oral but my friend has. and i've heard alot that the further you put it in your mouth the more pleasurable it is to the guy but if you feel like you're going to gag then dont do it that far. as far as swallowing ask the guy what he likes but the main thing is to do what you want and not being pressured to swallow if you dont want to. if you dont then have a cup next to wherever you're going to do it so you can spit. again this is just from hearing about it i haven't actually given a guy a blow job.

you have to be more comfortable with them. i have alot of guy friends and it has made it alot easier to talk to any guy. become their friend first because i know that my guy friends are easy to talk to because im really comfortable around them. be a little flirty and open up to them.

So I'm renting a house with friends, and somehow I ended up with the only room in the house with tacky, cheap fake wood panelling. It's kind of ugly, and I'm allowed to paint my room. I'm just concerned that it'll end up looking like painted panelling... but I don't have the time to spend filling in all the cracks. Has anybody else had to deal with something like this? i have wood paneling and i chose a lavender and light blue as an accent color. i ended up painting my wall in stripes using every other panel a different color. it surprised me how good it came out. it's going to need a few coats of paint but in the end i really liked it. i forget that there's still paneling under it. i painted 2 of my walls just the purple and i can barely see the cracks in the paneling.

okay my room is pink.. everything is pink.. i have a walk in closet, two circle chairs [ pink], a little white table in between them, a twin bed [pink],two laterns [pink&white], a desk with a computer, a storage unit, and a tv on a black tv stand.. basically everything matched so i was just wondering if anybody can help me figure out how to reorganize my room i always just throw everything in random boxes all over my room and i need help to keep it clean and im very creative.. im into poetry,drawing,fashion designing,& photography but i want to show that in my room by making my room into my own studio and a place to hang out can anyone help??? please (link)

separate your room into differnt areas. pretend its an appartment. make a little living room with your chairs and the table and one of the lamps. place the tv and the tv stand in this little area but at an angle that you can see it from your bed too. use the storage unit to separate your desk area from your sleeping and "living room" area. jazz it up a little with hand painted designs or stamps. paint your bed with little designs too. set up your desk in another corner and put your other lamp near it so you can have good light when you work at your desk. take a digital camera and take your own pictures of a flower close up or just something simple then go on your computer and change them all to black and white. paint something, because nothing makes a better statement than your own work. mine is all over my house and im proud of it. its comforting and a lot more personal than buying a picture. take some black paint and paint a few lines from a poem on your wall. get thin storage boxes to go under your bed and make sure you have a bed skirt to cover them. try to find some hanging closet organizers at walmart. cut out cool pictures from fashion magazines and make a collage, glue them onto a poster board and put it on your wall. i hope i helped, i want to be an interior designer so get back to me please.

Why do many non-Christians celebrate Christmas? Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus, so I just don't understand how anyone who doesn't believe in Jesus could celebrate his birth just for presents. And why do nonreligious people have to celebrate Christmas? Why not Hannukah or Kwanza?
Also, why do people who only celebrate Christmas and Easter consider themselves Christian? (people who don't pray or go to church, but still celebrate Christian holidays) (link)

if you believe in God then why does it matter if you go to church or not? i consider myself christian even though i have only gone to church about three times in my life. personally i find sitting on a bench listening to someone talk for hours boring, yet i still believe in God and Jesus. my family celebrates Christmas as a way to get the entire family together and just enjoy the time we have together along with the fact that it's christ's birthday. i think "non religious" people celebrate christmas as apposed to hannukah or kwanza because they are from Christian decent, not jewish or african. i think there are different levels to the religiousness of christianity so people who dont go to church every sunday still consider themselves christian whereas jews are all more religious.

those are my top three on my bookshelf. they're all really awsome books. flavor of the week is kinda short (finished in 5hrs) but its a really good story and it has recipies in it. marley and me was a really good book about a man and his dog. it made me cry but i'm a big animal lover. the dashwood sisters was a really good book. its got some brittish terms in it that you kinda have to figure out on your own (assuming you're american).
hope you enjoy, these books kept me entertained for about 2 weeks.

its not too young, its better than having sex at that age. the truth is that at least one of your friends was doing the same thing you were, trying to not seem like the outcast and going along with saying it was gross but they probably do masterbate or have at least once. slowly im finding out that my friends do and so do i. its really natural and nothing to be ashamed of. it just means your healthy and have all those hormones of a teenager.
