What ways can you tell if a guy friend wants to be MORE than friends?

-If he laughs at all of your jokes (Yes, even the stupid ones)
-If he compliments you all the time.
-If you catch him staring at you and smiling (But he looks away when you catch him)
-If he blushes around you.
-If approaches you all the time (Like, he always wants to talk to you and HE starts the conversation).
-If he seems interested in your hobbies and interests.
-If he asks you to go out one-on-one.

Ok I am best friends with 2 of these guys and 1 guy i just met,this guy I like ok, lets just call him "Bob" ok well I met him at some place and I really like him he laughs, he stares at me a lot and he just smiles when he is around me, I talk to him online a lot because I never really have time to see him because he goes to a different school and I am really not sure if he likes me or not we talk about random stuff... ok 1 of my best friends are friends with my mom... we r usually together all the time because of our moms, this guy will name him "jimmy"... Jimmy always stares at me and he always talks to me and always screams my name to me in class and talks to me too much, now this guy is actually really annoying to me so I think he must like me if he screams my name and stuff... ok second friend lets name him *timothy* Timothy and I have been going out for like 3 weeks and then he started being a jerk to me and so I broke up with him, I still sorta like him but I think he is starting to miss me because I ignore him now and so he is trying to be really nice to me sharing secrets and stuff and I am not sure if "timothy" likes me or not so could u tell me if all three of them like me or 2 of them or one of them or sumthing please answer this thanx :)

Bob- He might not like you as much as these other guys, but he does seem to like you in some way. Like, when he stares at you and smiles.
Jimmy- Yeah, he seems to like you. He might just like you as a best friend though (Since he goofs off around you. It seems like he's comfortable around you), but it can be either way.
Timothy- You weren't specific enough. He might still like you, or he might just be trying to make peace with you.

I know this from experience... Does he blush around you? If you touch his shoulder, arm, etc to get his attention, does he blush? If he does, it's a pretty good sign that the guy likes you.

How many of them like you? My opinion is that Jimmy most likely likes you. Maybe Bob, too. I doubt that Timothy does because you didn't mention him apologizing about being a jerk to you in the past.

I got a couple bleach spots on my FAVORITE pants. Not only are they my favorite pants, they're like the only ones I own that actually fit me and they weren't that cheap either! Is there anything I can do to them to either get the bleach spot to go away, or a way I can "ware" them so that it looks as though they were made that way? I don't like the whole staining in coffee or tea thing so that's completely out of the question. But is there anything else I can do to bring my pants back to life? =( Thanks.

You can put some more bleach spots on it, to make it look like it's supposed to be like that.
You could also use that bleach pen and make a design that includes the bleach spots that are already there (That's kind of risky though, it would be easy to mess up).
Or, you can get some patches and cover the spots with them (You can get patches with cool designs/sayings at most craft stores. They also have a bunch of patches with bands on them at Hot Topic). Or, stitch some cool fabric over the spots (just cut the fabric into a square big enough that it covers the spot and sew it on).
Or you can get a fabric pen and get your friends to sign on the spots, if the spots are big enough.

I just got my school year book and I want a certain guy to sign it only I'm too shy to ask. If someone told me if I should or should not and give me confidence then I would ask him directly. So, should I or should I not ask him to sign my year book directly and why? Also, if you said no is there any other way I can get him to sign my year book?

I think that you should ask him to sign your yearbook. I've been in this situation many times before, and I've always asked the certain guy "Can you please sign my yearbook?" and it's always gone well. He might ask you to sign his, too! :o) If he's a truly good guy, he'll sign your yearbook. Be brave! Good Luck!

Today at lunch we had these chicken nuggets in a gravy kinda sauce.It was really messy and I went to eat one and my so called friend shoved it in my mouth.It was all over my face and I got so pissed off at her.I kept saying to her` that was really mean, i would never do anything like that to you` I mean how could she do something so cruel to someone who is her friend?! We always get in arguments, but sometimes she can be nice. I can never get her to apoligize though, even when she does the damage I end up apoligizing.It makes me feel weak that I gotta give into her, so what should I do? She makes it seem like I'm being overly sensitive but a while back she could have done anything to me and I wouldn't of cared.I'm just sick of being treated the way she treats me...

I know people like this, so I speak from experience here.

If you want to keep the friendship, then I say you should go up to her while she's alone and talk to her. Tell her that you don't appreciate that she's treating you like that, and that if she doesn't stop, that you shouldn't be friends anymore, since friends are supposed to hold you up, not bring you down.

Or, if you're sick of her altogether, I would just let her know that if she's gonna treat you like she has, then you don't wanna be her friend. Ignore her from then on.

You don't deserve to be treated like that! Stand up for yourself. You'll feel so much better.

For the past 3 years I have been walking home its al been safe and no one ever got hurt, untill today....
My sister (Shes 12 and in 5th grade) was walking hom with her boyfriend (same age as kate) like any other day and the light was green but no cars were comming so as kate waited for the light to turn red her boyfrined darted acoross the road for no cars were comming, it that short of time someone turned out of a parking lot a couple yards away and turned and hit the little boy, My little sister saw the accident and heard the band of the TRUCK hit the little boy flinging him and then stoped a couple feet away from where his body layed. He was life flighted to a hospital because he was bleeding and complaning about his back hurting. My sister has calmed down after being REALLLY upset and crying none stop for an hour shes not home right now shes with my dad and i want to know. Is he going to be okay? Hes little ., Whats the chance of his surviving? IT SCARES ME SOO MUCH BECAUSE IF SHE WOULD OF FOLLOWED HIM SHE WOULD BE IN MY SHOES,
also my best friend and sister always say that i am a "mother hen" and make fun of me because if a car isnt slowing down fast enough evne during a red light or if i even think a car is going to be too close i will hold them bakc with my arms ... and then today.. I am sick to my stomich!

It depends on his injuries. You have to find out what's wrong with his back. Is it broken? Or is it just bruised? How and where is he bleeding? Was anything broken? We can't really say much because we don't know how (and how bad) he's injured.

Was he run over? I think that he would have a better chance of surviving if he wasn't. What about his head? Did his head get hit at all? If his head was hurt bad enough, then that could cause problems.

How fast was the truck going? The slower it was going, the better. If it was going fast, I would be more worried.

If there's no internal bleeding, he has no damage to internal organs (like the heart, brain, etc), and if his neck isn't broken, I think that he'll survive.

However, that's just my opinion, and shouldn't be believed over that facts.

Also... stay a "mother hen!" It will be better in the long run (it already is better)!

it's not that i'm a shy person, but I often get stage fright. sometimes when I have to perform a play or skit, or when I have to go in front of my whole class and all attention is on me, my body starts to get really hot and like my face, chest, and arms will turn red. I just wanted to kno if other people are experiencing that too.. and how can I prevent this from happening??

You're not alone, I'm like that, too. What I usually do is look at a wall behind someone's head. Don't stare at it, though; change what wall you look at from time to time.

Also, NEVER, and I mean NEVER, look anyone in the audience in the eye. It will make you even more nervous.

Do this, and your stage fright shouldn't be as bad.

I have been feeling really weird lately. I've been exhausted and I feel really weak. I can't consentrate, eat, or sleep. I'll try to do something and I'll get out of breath really quickly which isn't like me. I usually run a mile everday and I don't get out of breath from walking in my house. It's really stange. I think that there might be something wrong with me but I don't know what. I'm usually never like this. My friend said that I probably have AIDS because I had sex for the first time last week but we used protection and I don't think that AIDS affects you right away. I really don't know anything about diseases or illnesses or anything like that so if anyone has any idea about what might be wrong with me or what might have caused it please help me.

You're right, AIDS almost never attacks right away.

HIV is the virus that causes AIDS, and that's when it's inactive and there are no symptoms.

It could be possible, but I really doubt it.

You might have a different STD, though I don't know of any that have those symptoms. Protection doesn't protect against most STD's (including HIV).

I would also suggest getting a pregnancy test, especially if you're getting morning sicknesses and peeing a lot. Better safe than sorry.

Then that might be it.

BUT, if you haven't been eating much (Which could be related to stress), that might be why you're weak and getting out of breath easily.

Go to the doctor, they're the only ones that can give you a real diagnosis.

Ok so theres this boy in my class and he always make fun of me saying something about how my chest is small or w/e, i wouldnt care but he ytell it to all his friend that are boy , there are 20 ppl in my class soo that not alot if yo think about it, its really embarssing and even if I say sotp he doesnt!! Please I feel relaly uncomforatble.

This guy is a loser, and you need to tell an adult about it. This isn't just flirting or making fun; it's sexual harassment.

Sexual harassment is anything (sexual touching or talking) that you don't want. What these boys are saying are sexual comments.

Tell a teacher, parent, or a school officer (if you have one). You don't deserve to be treated like this.

My friend was raped by a bunch of guys. Now she's pregnant and she also has AIDS because of them. She's anemic which means she's already really tired all the time and gets short of breathe really easily. Well lately she's been really tired, like more than usual and it's really scaring me. Her parents don't know about what happened to her, they really don't care about her she's basically living with me. My parents take care of her and we give her a place to stay. She has a job but lately she's been skipping it and she just seems really tired. It's like she's a completely different person. She'll usually try to do things and not let the fact that she's anemic stop her but she hasn't been doing anything lately and she seems really sick. She says that it's just her anemia but I'm not really sure. My question is could she just be like this because of the anemia or could it be something else? I don't know that much about AIDS so could she be dying from it and that's why she seems so exhausted and sick all the time?
Please help me I'm really worried about her.

Does she have HIV or AIDS? AIDS and HIV are different things.

HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. It can stay in the body's tissues for a short time or a long time- in some cases, it's stayed in the tissues for 10 years or more. It will eventually become AIDS. No symptoms are present.

See, there are these cells in your immune system called T-cells. T-cells help attack invading organisms that come into the body (they're different than B-cells, B-cells produce antibodies while T-cells do not). A healthy person has about 1,400-1,500 of these. AIDS kills these cells. Once you're down to 300 of them, you're in the beginning stages of AIDS.

Take her to a doctor. They're the only ones that can give a real diagnosis. It might be because of her anemia, but it might not.

i have an 11 year old sister who asked me to write here. she has alaways been really atletic, but has never found a sport just for her. can you guys please write abouts sports you like, what type of people they are for, and some info on it. please exclude soccer and basketball

Lacrosse is by far the best sport ever. It's a mix of soccer and basketball, but believe me, I despise soccer and basketball and I love lacrosse.

Lacrosse is for people that are very athletic and can run fairly fast for a long period of time. You also need good aim and great hand-eye coordination.

For lacrosse, you wear a mouthguard, eye protection, and you use a crosse (the stick) to catch and throw the ball. (If you're a goalie, it's different, the head of the crosse is larger and they wear a helmet and more protection)

Basically, the object of the game is to get the ball in your goal. There are three main positions (Mid-field, defense, attack), but there are wings, too.

The girl's crosse doesn't have a pocket like a boy's crosse, so you have to cradle to keep the ball in the head (turn the crosse back and forth in a circular motion using your fingers).

i have heard a or that one of my close friends doesnt really like me, but we still hang out every day. but i heard this from a lying "friend", who doesnt really like the i first started talking about. would she make it up?? what should i do???

If you and your friend still hang out with each other and she still seems to like you, I bet that this lying "friend" is lying.

If you still have doubts, just ask you friend, "Hey, ______ said that you didn't like me. Is that true?" That's the only way that you'll find out the truth. If she says that it was a lie, then I would stay away from the lying "friend".

But I think that the liar is just trying to turn you and your friend against each other. I know where you're coming from, because I've been in the same situation that you're in right now. Don't believe the lying girl until you talk to your friend.

I've never gone to a dance before. I am going to a dance party next weekend but I don't know how to dance. Don't say "ask one of your close friends" Reply..I rate..thanks

How to slow dance:

The guy will put his arms around your waist, and you put your arms around his neck. Then, you move from side to side (sort of shuffle your feet from side to side) or follow the guy you're dancing with (Like, if he's moving in a circle, move in a circle, too).

Other than that, just let loose! Dance any way you want to! Forget the people around you and move to the music. It might be hard at first if you're shy, but believe me, I'm shy, and I got the hang of it after I tried a few times.

Practice some moves in a mirror. Turn on some music that's good to dance to and make up some dance moves. Remember the ones that look good, and you can use those at the dance party.

You can watch some music videos and learn some dance moves from them, too!

They also have videos that can help you learn certain dances, like Darrin's Dance Grooves.

Also remember that most people are so busy dancing themselves, that they are most likely not paying attention to the people around them. So let loose and have fun!
