Hey everybody. I've love giving advice so I'll answer every question I can. If you need any advice on anything, just ask me! A little about me- I play tennis and I love to shop and hang out at my pool with friends. I'll be a sophomore in high school this year so I've had plenty of experience on friendship and relationships. I always try to take my time and answer every question thoughtfully. I don't care about ratings or any of that, I just want to help people out. :-)

i know the law of the difference of age in dating is but morally what should be the biggest gapin age of a relationship--a serious one

It all depends on your beliefs, but I personally think that the maximum agre difference should be no more that 2 years younger or 2 years older. When you're an adult, age doesn't matter so much but right now, a few years can make a world of difference between people on maturity and emotional levels.

OK. I have this guy friend I like. Let's name him David. And I have this friend. Let's name her Nina. OK. So I like David a lot. But he's 17 and I'm 13 (turning 14 really really soon), and Nina is 13 too (she turns 14 in July, a little bit before me). So today David told me to give Nina his phone number b/c he is too shy to go up to her himself, but I don't want to b/c I'm a little bit jealous. Does that make me a bad friend? What should I do?

Honestly I think this guy is too old for either of you to be messing with. I know he may seem like a great guy and all right now, but having a relationship with an 18 year old (he'll be 18 soon) is not only inappropriate but it is also illegal! You should both try focusing on guys who are closer to your age.

Alright well I am 15/F and I want to learn how to play the bass guitar. My question is, how much do bass guitars and all the equipment cost? Also I know what tabs are but I have no idea how to read them. I just need to know everything about how to play OR if you know of any websites that could help me that would be great! Thanks so much! I don't know much about guitars, but as far as finding out about how much they cost and everything, check out www.zzsounds.com, www.bassguitars.us, www.all-bass-guitars.com and www.bassguitarsguide.com. If you really want to learn to play, you should look for somewhere to take lessons because I'm sure that would be much more effective that learning online. Hope this helps!

well at a family reunion i got to see my cousins that i havent seen in a long time. well i got to know a male cousin of mine and we became good friends. but the whole reunion i mostly hung out with this cousin and another female cousin and we been kinda tight. well i dont get to see this cousin very often because he lives in a different state. and so whenever i see him at church its kind of a surprise and i go talk to him. but i think i like him and it's weird and i cant help it. even though he's adopted into the family hes not really a relative and its not like hes my 1st 2nd or 3rd cousin. hes a little out there but hes still my cousin. and i dont want to seem nasty or anything but what should i do. because i think its kind of gross that im starting to like him. and i dont want this to go anywhere

This is a tough situation. Although you two aren't closely related, technically you are still cousins. I'm not sure about all the incest laws and everything but if your relationship ever turned into something serious, you could both get in a lot of trouble. Since you don't seem him much anyway, maybe it's best to just be friends with him and focus on guys who live closer (not to mention outside your family!) I'm glad you are concerned and don't want it to go anywhere because any kind of relationship would obviously be inappropriate. Hope you can get this figured out.

ok theres this kid that goes to my school and i really really like him i walk home with him everyday and people always ask us if we go out because we are constintly flirting and i always say no well one of my friends on her science book is all pictures of her friends and im on it and i borrowed it once and i wrote things next to them and just playin around i put sexy on mine and so he had the book the next day and he scribbled the comments i wrote on other peoples pictures and put something bad but on mine he underlined what i wrote and my friends thinks he sweats me and i really like him but id feel stupid if i said somethin and he didnt but theres alot of stuff and i think he does but im not absolutley positive what should i do
and i dont kno how to just go up to him and talk to him about if he likes me or not?

It sounds like he really does like you! I know what you mean, it's not that easy to just go up to a guy and ask him if he likes you. Try bringing it up in casual conversation. For example some time when you guys are hanging out say something like "Have you ever though about what it would be like if we went out?" See how he reacts. If he seems into it, talk about it more and let him know that you think it would be cool. Just see what happens. Wouldn't it be awful if you went all though school wondering if he likes you, but never finding out? Don't waste your life wondering! If he cares about you as much as it seems like he does, he'll be kind to you and stay friends with you even if he doesn't want a romantic relationship.

Im applying for a new job and it asks me my reason for leaving my last job. The reason I left was because I wanted to move onto something else, possibly higher paying and something better. How would I word that?

Try writing something like this:
"I felt like my previous job was not letting me reach my full potential and that I would like a job like this (the one you are applying for) much better. At my old job I felt like I was stuck in a rut and it was time to move on." Hope this helps!

Don't worry about it being a competition. If he is a really great guy who is worth your time, he'll ask you out. If you want to make the first move, just ask him to a movie or something! With any luck, he'll forget about your ex-bff. I don't know what happened between you and her but just make sure you don't intentionally hurt her feelings.
