Hey guys. Sherry here. My little sister (10) got like white stuff on her underwear like a few weeks ago and yeah I knew it was normal but she told me just today that she got a really small red spot on her underwear...I never got these spots before my period or anything so do you think she'll get her period soon? the white stuff is discharge, and is completely normal. as for that speck of red, no that isn't her period. she probably whipped too hard and got an unnoticed cut. it happens alot. the discharge is a sign of period coming, although doesn't mean soon. i had discharge for two years before my period. but if you really aren't sure, look at the time you mother had her period. if your mother had it in high school ot 7th/8th grade it would be rare for her to get it this early. good luck!

i am incredibly opinionated and very vocal about my opinions, which he hates.
i know i am smarter than him, he hates this also.
he yells at me for no reason often. condemning my use of the computer. stating that i'm on it too much.
my sister, on the other hand, watches TV all the time. he says i lack social skills because i'm on the computer "too much."
he's not around when i'm not on the computer and doing other things.
but yet i am still on the computer too much according to him.
i fight back all the time, but i hate it. i hate him.

due to his working situation i dont see him except for some weekends. (my parents arent divorced).
when he tries to punish me, he fails. he really cant. i have more power than he does in our family.

well, since you have stated you have more power then him, he feels threatened. your intelligence scares him, knowing his little girl doesn't look up to him and need him anymore. your opinions are proof of this. do not stop speaking out, it is his issue if he doen't like it. it's america, speak your mind. also, you being online is feeding you mind of more knowledge, he may not be completely comfortable with that. but yet again, his problem, not yours. but maybe have friends over on weekend when you see him, fun for you and he is assured you do have a social life. you knowing that you are smarter, although, may be true, shows arrogance. many people absolutely intollerate arrogance and find it annoying, toning down the "im smarter then you" will definantly help. but most of all, ask him for help on your homework one day if he's not busy, although he probably won't show it because of hi stupid pride, he will feel needed and maybe cut down on the hateful words. your dad obviously has issues, and never blame yourself for these. and by the way, killing him will never solve your problems. you are smart and have a future, murder will wreck any chance of a life for you. i hope i helped, and good luck.

To get down to it, I'm a 15 year old girl and a 22 year old guy likes me. I've known this guy for a few months and have become really good friends with him. I didn't know he actually had a crush on me till a few weeks ago. This guy is really nice, very sweet, he always cares about me. He always wants to know how I feel and how he can make it any better. He calls me practically every night. He trusts me and I trust him. We've talked about our feelings for eachother... I used to not think of him as anything more than a friend, but now I think I am starting to like him more. He has never tried to pull anything on me... he respects my boundaries, yet he shows he still cares. My parents don't like that I even talk to a 22 year old guy on the phone. If they ever knew I wanted to go out with him, they'd freak. I'd like to give him a chance, but I don't know if it's worth hiding from my parents and the fact that he's so much older than me makes the possibility chances of it working slimmer. Any advice on what I should do?
I don't know if you are aware, but that is illegal. you could be friends or even have him as a brotherly figure (which he seems to be) but for a 22 year old to consider you as a girlfriend is a thought of an unstable man. it's not you, it's that he should be attracted to girls his own age. he is not some one you should really be hanging around with and suggest avoidance, or only hanging out in groups. this is called petefilia if he ever touched you, so please make the right decision.

haha tes, when you eat a large sum of real cheese you may get constipated. but string cheese, spray cheese, ir kraft cheese most likely will not give you the same effect. but if you must eat it, eat lots of carrots along with it to reduce the constipation. carrotts hold alot of fiber which help you..."flow"

I am 6 years out of high school and I am still with my high school boyfriend. We are not married but have a child together. He has never cheated on me or anything, but now he is saying we should get our own places so that we can save some money (because this way I would get help from the state). He wants to do this for about a year, and he also says we need a little time apart because we've been together so long and been through so much. I don't agree with it, and I don't really understand it, but we've talked about it and talked about it and I really don't have a choice in the matter. He says he'll be over all the time and that I can keep EVERYTHING at my place, that he just wants to keep his clothes in his place. He's not as affectionate as he used to be, but he still wants sex. Okay, this may sound dumb, but im confused.
If you call a suicide hotline, do they call the cops? Especially since you are in danger? I have always wondered this and my councelor at school gave me a list of hotlines because I am always thinking about suicide.

the majority of hotlines will not call the police, but try and talk it out with you. they are a team of people that talk to you, asking you questions that seem to uplift you out of your mental state.

So my mom and my dad fight constantly and they are kind of alcholics...I always find myself crying myself to sleep and wishing that i had different parents...But neway..one night my dad locked me and my mom out of the house and it was so bad that my mom had to call the police on him....I have never done nething to my dad to make him treat me this way....This may sound horribe but im actually terrified of him...What should i do...please i need advice really bad bcuz this is something that has been bothering me for awhile and i never really had the guts to talk to ppl about it......HELP!
im sorry, that sucks. but there is something you can do. sitting your mother down and have a private conversation on the fact you would be happier if she divorced your father or if any action would just take place. or calmly ask you father why he doesn't love you anymore, what did you do. i know this sounds like a cheap shot, but if you ask it with sincere tears in your eyes, most likely he will cave and hug you and explain his behavior. but if all fails, you need to talk to a social worker at your school or a teacher, anyone that can help really. although that might lead to bad instant reactions, in the end you will be happier. good luck hunnie

I got my top cartilidge pierced in June 2004, and my bottom cartilidge one around August 2004. It says you have to keep the earring in for 3 months and you can change it. I got hoops from Claires and I just put them in about 3 days ago. I've been having ear pains ever since, on and off. Do you think it's just because I have to get used to it? Because when I sleep I tend to roll on them, so that's whats causing the most pain I think. Or do you think they're just damaging my ear? Thanks for any help.
maybe the skin and cartilidge of your ear were forming around the earing (which is not good) and when you pulled it out it irritated the ear. don't worry, it's good that you took it out. but if the pain is just to much for you, you need to take your new earing off too. but not too long, or your skin may grow over.

if you are a serious dancer, Juliard is the best choice. although if you are merely a poms squad dancer, you should be concentrating on your grades because that won't help ya. Maybe you could get into a state college on that if your team won state, but i can't see any other way.
