I've just recently got a ferret as a pet. He's male, about seven or eight months old. He's very docile and "lazy" for a ferret and is easily distracted, but he doesn't seem to want to play much. I know, I should be thanking my lucky stars he isn't always on "go go gadget" mode, but are there some games or activities that your ferrets enjoy that Doorstop might as well? Something cheap and stimulating for him would be awesome. Thanks!
I have a male ferret of about a year and a half and he's lazy too, most ferrets are. What he enjoys is chasing the cats (LOL) and digging up my mom's potted plants (LOL). So.. what you can do is, give him something to dig in (it can be dirt, uncooked rice, etc) in a large bin or something. Another thing is, that ferrets have an excellent sense of smell, much better than their sight. So you can give him a bunch of different things to smell, which is very stimulating. You could also take him outside (but you must be EXTREMELY careful not to lose him!) which my ferret LOVES. Tons of new places to romp around in, and TONS of new strange smells.

It may have to do with you diet. An improper diet will make you tired sometimes.

My hamster died.:( I had him for like 2 years. Thats not the point though. I was thinking about gettting another animal but I dont know what. Cats,dogs,rabbits and any reptiles are just not going to work...should I just get another hamster but that seems like I am just replacing it. Got any suggestions?I love ferrets but I don't have the money for them.

What about a rat? They make really great pets (I had 14 at one time) you can teach them tricks, come to their name, etc.! They are really nice too, just a little stinky, but that's not a problem if you clean out their cage every other day or so. If you don't have time to play with it a lot, then get two and they keep each other company!

Just as a note : if you want to lose weight the HEALTHY way (aka, not starving yourself, etc) I think you can only lose a maximum of about 5 pounds or so a week.
My dog is a mixed breed. He's rather tiny.. I'm just wondering how long do those kind of dogs last? He's healthy but I'm kind of worried that I'll lose him. He's 7 years old and apparently is having some hearing problems?
Some small dogs can live to be 20 years old, others just have bad luck, there's no way to no for sure, but you're dog will probably live to be at least 10+ years if he doesn't get any other health problems.
I'm in an advanced Chior group. We are going to sing at some fancy restaurant. We get to choose what song we want to sing, because were doing solos, duets,trios,and quartets. I have a group to sing with and we all want to do this so we need to get an anser before all the slots get filled up. Does anybody have any good songs to sing there? There's always a risk but in this case it's extremely low, so there's nothing to worry about.. haha.. I mean, I don't always wash my hands before eating after I've pet my cat or dog and I'm still here today! :P
I heard that gatorade is really bad for your teeth and like rots them or somthing is that true??
It's only bad for your teeth if you drink it A LOT and often. But that's the same with any drink with sugar in it. It's not as bad as soda is though. It's perfectly harmless though if you drink it occasionally.

Omg, my dog got skunked! I got home from dance and me and my mom found out she got skunked after my dad let her outside. From the looks of it, she got sprayed right in the face, and she's pacing around, because she doesn't know what to do. It smells more like rotten onions rather than a skunk. Me and my mom could smell the skunk when we got home. I feel so bad for her. We don't know what to do. Is there anything we can do. We're going to try to get her a bath at Petsmart as soon as possible, so don't suggest a bath, it's already being done. Ok thanks!!!!

We eat eggs(I mean chicken egg). Had we not eaten them, would they have given rise to live chicks? Or are they some sort of non reproductive egg?
Chickens lay eggs, with or without a rooster. For an egg to become a chick though, a rooster needs to fertilize it. Eggs sold at stores for food are not fertilized, and therefor cannot become chicks.
The other day my friend and I found a turtle in the woods in my backyard. He was by a snake that looked like it was going to have the turtle for dinner. So my friend and I took the turtle and kept him in an empty fish tank in my garage. Since turtles carry lots of dieseases ; its from the wild ; and I`m sure he`s sad// lonley I`m going to release him tomorow. My question is where do I release him ? My dad has a big pond full of fish in our backyard && I wanted to put him by the pond, but would it just be better to put him all the way in the back of the woods again ? thnkss guys.
You really shouldn't have taken the little guy into your house in the first place, but I do understand that you were merely trying to help the little guy. It depends how far back the woods are, if they aren't too far away, I would suggest to leave him next to the pond as you have described. It sounds like a great place for a little turtle to recooperate from any traumas and bring him to full health, plus, you have no idea how much water he has lost, etc. so yeah, pond=good!

Why yes it is. And that isn't exactly a glamour shot of him either, in fact, he looks quite gross in that one, with his zombie-green eyes! Haha! His name is Nicholas and I love him to death! :P
