Q: Are brown eyes even pretty anymore?
It just seems like all these beautiful people have blue or green eyes.

And all the people with light colored eyes are noticed more.

My eyes are very dark brown.

I want to make them look pretty.. :\

I have brown eyes. I love them. Brown eyes are very warmish color and go with any outfit. Notice how brown is a good color to wear and goes with pretty much anything? Well there you go :) Love your eyes.

Q: ok well during school i see some of my friends fingers and they have very thin, elegant fingers
on the otherhand.... my fingers are a somewhat wider than normal. If it helps, i'm a tall, skinny person and I play volleyball. could this be the reason?
what are some tips or advice on how to make my fingers look skinnier?

if you crack your knuckles that could be the problem. If you don't it could be genes or just anything.

Edit... if you stop cracking your knuckles, I do not think they will get smaller, although if you stop they wont get any bigger except when YOU grow :) sorry though.

Q: 13/f. My brother, who is in highschool, is autistic. Its very hard for him to make friends, he only has a couple. He is pretty smart also.

I feel extremely bad for him though, and so I usually hang out with him when we are at home unless he's practicing piano or doing homework. Me and him RARELY fight, which is a good thing because I want to make sure he feels close to people all the time. His medicine makes him lose his appetite so he is a tall skinny stick, and sometimes he can be embarrasing but I know that its because of his disease.

I worry about him so much though. Sometimes at school the kids will make fun of him and he cries a lot at school. Sometimes he will yell at the teachers when he is frustrated, and once he got detention for punching a kid when the kid took his pencil. He overreacts, and he knows it, but of course he can't help it. I feel so bad for him, because I know how its hard for him. He stutters alot too.

Sorry this is long, so I'll just wrap it up. Sometimes in bed I think about how worried I am to the point where I need to cry myself to sleep. How can I stop worrying? I think about him constantly wondering what's happening to him that moment and it scares me. I'm always scared something bad will happen to him.

Q: Okay, I've noticed lately a lot of people wearing UGGS that look like slippers. (pic at the end of question)

Anyways I was at the mall last week and was in the shoestore and saw a shoe just like that which wasn't UGGS, but were very close. And they were only about 15 dollars... which surprised me a lot, but I didn't get them, even though I really liked them and thought they were just adorable..

any ways I am just asking for your advice, I really want these shoes. Should I go back and get them? Or is this just a fashion crisis, getting shoes that look like, but aren't, uggs?? (I dont believe they were exactly fake uggs, they had a brand name but idk what it was lol) my family cant afford to buy me real 120 dollar uggs, and this was much like them. Shoudl I get them? Q: whenever iam at my cousins house and i have a headache I take a headache powder and sometimes i take like 3 headache powders daily when iam over at her house becouse i know when i go home my mom won't have any in her medicine case so i won't be able to take any at my house all week so i take as many as i can whenever iam at my cousins house.
my cousin is worried that iam addicted to taking them becouse she said that a whole 50 pack of headache powders was used up in a week and she said i must have took them becouse besides me shes the only one who uses them and she says i need to stop taking them while i can and iam not to addicted to them becouse she says if i don't i'll have an ulser before long am i addicted and if iam how do i stop taking headache powders?

Ask her to hide them from you and make sure she DOESNT tell you even HINTS about where it is. And tell her not to let you go search around, and tell her to put it in a really good hiding spot. If you can't find it, you won't be able to have it, and then soon you probably won't be so addicted anymore.

Q: ok. so last night i took a shower. and i looked inside my bra and there was little hairs. then i look at my breast and theres hair. not alot like verryy small and little. you can barely tell unless your face is like right there. is that normal?

Q: 15/f.freshman.

I'm shy. in school, i'm quiet in class. with friends/family, im loud. people don't realize that. i hate it! I know i'm not ugly. Really, idk if it's about self-esteem. I just feel like I don't have any motivation to talk to people. I've never had a real boyfriend, or kissed a guy. and i want that to change. I wanna make new friends, because even though i have 2 best friends, i can't ALWAYS rely on them. I talk to people, but i'm not like friends with them as in like hanging out and talking everyday. Plus guys is a whole different story. I want a boyfriend! And i have no guy friends. NONE. This is my new years resolution and i have to do this. i can't keep being like this. What can i do to give myself some motivation, that boost i need to get me going? To get me first of all, participating in class more, talking in class, talking to other people, boys AND girls, making friends and getting a boyfriend (or more:)) I just want to start over freshman year! its a new year i need to make a change! I just don't know where to start.

Lots of people are saying to just do it and dont worry. The only thing is I know exactly what position you are in because I'm JUST LIKE YOU. Although I only have one actual best friend and a few people I talk to, but I know where you are coming from.

Basically what I'm saying is that you can't really just be outgoing. That doesn't happen overnight, allthough i REALL wish it did. :(

10 simple Solutions to shyness is supposed to be a good book. I'm reading it right now, and I've heard from some people it works amazingly. Now I dont know if it works yet since I just barely started it. There are excersizes and stuff and you learn about different types of shyness also, and of course, how to overcome it. Good luck, although I'm not sure if this is good enough advice since I'm still overcoming shyness. :P

Q: I need a girl to answer this: ok my parents won't let me get rid of my peach fuzz because it'll grow back really fast (my hair tends to grow back really fast when i shave my legs). But it's really starting to be noticeable at school which disturbs me so I'm going to get rid of it myself but should I wax or shave and why?

DONT SHAVE IT! It will look a LOT like a mustache, my friend did that and its terrible! WAX it. If you shave, it will be THICKER, and DARKER, and you will be even more self concious.

Q: I stumbled across this site by accident. I seriously doubt many of you have the qualifications to give real people proper advice. After reading some of your responses to people's inquiries i was quite astonished as to how teenagers find they are able to give quality advice and information to real people in need with such little life experience. If you ask me you are not in a place to give your "personal opinion" when people truly believe you are giving them the right answer simply because you claim "people think i give really good advice". (eg. i am still at a loss as to how a 17 year old girl thinks she can give advice to someone regarding conceiving a child) I know you try to come across as a "godsend" to poeple who are in some sort of personal crisis and need a fast easy answer but the truth is, in the cases where it really counts, there rarely is one; at least not from you.

little life experience? maybe they dont have the answers to every question on this site, but yes, they most likely have answers to questions that they HAVE had experience with. if you can't believe that not everyone has the answers to life, then you shouldn't even be on here

Q: I had my hair really long, i mean long, when i wore it down, it came all the way to my belly button and i wanted to get it cut so i did and now, its only a little past my shoulders! its WAY WAY to short!! Ok. I was growing my hair in 4th grade and the beginning of 6th grade it was pretty long but then I CUT IT RIGHT ABOVE MY SHOULDERS. I hated it soo much. now its right about where it was before i had cut it. about 3 inches past my shoulders

now you may not like it but unfortunatley whats done has been done and you cant change it but my hair isnt that much longer than yours and i can get it to look really cute in some hairstyles. just experiment as much as possible.

Q: Talk about bad hair days...I suffer with at least 3-4 a week. It's not that I use cheap shampoo or don't buy stuff for my hair...it' really wild...(sorry bout this) but my hair is like hagrid's from HP. Yeah and it looks awful.

Now I know I'll never have Jessica Simpson or Jessica Alba hair, but I want to get a hair cut on Friday. Something new. Something that can work with any mood; loose; ponied; straightened; curled...anything! I'm thinkin something short(shoulder length or about 1-2 inches below), layered and neat.

Does anyone know if this will work with my rounded face...and if anyother suggestions arrise please advise me on what to do

i think that would look really cute, my hair is about that long but i might want to get it layered. even though your shampoo isnt crappy or anything i use garnier fructis sleek and shine it tames flyaways and makes your hair shiny it works very nicely. I also have a hair straightner remington wet2straight but i dont dry my hair with it since it can damage it big time. good luck!

I just bought a VERY cute purse from Aeropostale a few days ago... It was on clearance too so I only spent 10 dollars on it. Aero purses are good priced and really cute, so you could end up spending even less then your range. Hope this helps

try talking to her on the phone, that way the one girl who butts in the conversation can't get into it this time. tell her you miss being her friend and you wanna work things out. if she refuses to be your friend give it some time and try again but if she is still mad at you then i dont really think she deserves to be your friend. good luck, hope it helps

i love the series Diary Of a Teenage Girl by Melody Carson. there are a few different series in the series for different characters, my favorite is Kim. the first one she can sound a bit stuck up but I read the third book for Kim first and she was really...i dont know the word, but i guess insperational could be one. Q: for one night not long ago i had a dream, really bad...but then only two nights ago i had like .. a continuation of that dream .. along with other bad ones.the night i had the continuation of the dream i woke up too something with a woman voice i have never heard shushing me. i woke up immediately. then last night basically early this morning i had bad dreams again that i cant remember but werent as bad as the ones the other night but i woke up to the same voice saying something like go back to sleep or something and shushing me again but talking a little then i just fell back asleep i was a little scared but i was comforted enough to go to sleep. it wasnt my mom cause she is still alive..but i cant think of any change in my life of which would cause this...please i am really curious...help???

okay i think what you should do is see someone like a psychologist. they are VERY good at sorting these sort of things out and im sure you could get this figured out. the bad dreams could be a sign of stress or something and you could have been half asleep when you heard the shushing voice. hope you get things worked out, and goodluck.

Q: A spot on the right side of my bottom lip is very swollen and feels hot. I tried icing it to make the swelling go down but it didn't work. What do you think it is? Could it be serious? What should I should do?

Well i dont think this has ever happened to me so i'm not quite sure what it is. its not deffinatly not chapped lips? just incase try some vaseline but if it doesnt work by the next day, i'd definatly contact a doctor. it could be something serious, so i'd get it checked out. good luck
