good deal or fashion crisis

Question Posted Tuesday January 9 2007, 9:03 pm

Okay, I've noticed lately a lot of people wearing UGGS that look like slippers. (pic at the end of question)

Anyways I was at the mall last week and was in the shoestore and saw a shoe just like that which wasn't UGGS, but were very close. And they were only about 15 dollars... which surprised me a lot, but I didn't get them, even though I really liked them and thought they were just adorable..

any ways I am just asking for your advice, I really want these shoes. Should I go back and get them? Or is this just a fashion crisis, getting shoes that look like, but aren't, uggs?? (I dont believe they were exactly fake uggs, they had a brand name but idk what it was lol) my family cant afford to buy me real 120 dollar uggs, and this was much like them. Shoudl I get them? Thanks in advance.

Woah, totally go back and get them! I'm sure that the fake ones and the real ones aren't too much different, except for the price difference. I lovee finding deals on cute things, so definately go back. It's hard to find a cute pair of shoes for just $15. Plus, they're so common that I'm sure nobody will really stare at your feet and notice that they aren't real, or even care. Plus, if you like them, why not get them? Deff. go back and get them if you do! =]

Definitly! I'm all about saving money. If anybody is staring at your feet to figure out if they're real or not ... then that's just weird. They're just a fad anyways - as in, not always going to be "in style" (I'm surprised the trend has held on as long as it has)- so if you're going to, drop your money on something timeless instead.
