firstly, dont lie! trust me thats the last thing you want to do. okay well they should know that you hang out with guys (just incase they dont) and tell them a little after you guys are going out, just to see if you actaully are getting along and stuff. it really depends. like my parents are the kind to make a "big deal" that im going out with some one but what everr. so just do it when the time is right. BUT if you dont want to tell them (cuz i probably wouldnt tell =|) it might be better. it really depends like if your parents are laid back and relaxed about that stuff go ahead tell them but i would probably not tell my parents but if they asked if i were going out with anyone or something i wouild prob tell the truth.

If you have a good relationship with your parents, just say something like "today was so good, mom! this really cool guy __ that i like asked me out!" or something like that. They'll most likely be really happy for you so don't worry about it! x

I would just tell your parents first of all that he's a friend and you were wondering if he could come over. And whenever he comes over, of course he'll hopefully make a good impression and just be nice and respectful in the house, and whenever he leaves after hanging out, just ask your mother what she thought of him. Hopefully, she'll say he was a wonderful boy, and then just let her know,"Good, because I have a crush on him."

And then the next day, just be like,"Mom, guess what? He asked me out! :)" Obviously she'll know then you said yes since she's aware you like him, and then also she'll be comfortable with it because she's already met him and knows what he's like and everything.

I hope I helped.
