as the kid below me said.. you're definetly not bad looking at all! you're pretty! i think you would look really cute if you got side bangs... it will make your hair look more cute and interesting. also try some eyeliner. guys don't like it when girls wear TONS of makeup but you have really pretty eyes so if you just wear eye liner it will make your eyes pop

If you shop at Delias, you know about the logo t-shirts with all the different little designs like the cartoons and the cute sayings. They are really cute, but really expesive. Seriously, I can't shell out like 20-30 dollars or more for just a cheap t-shirt. Now, I'm sure that Delias is not the only company that sells these type of little witty expression t-shirts. Does anybody know of any other stores that sell similar shirts for a lower price? Because theres gotta be somthing out there thats making this kind of stuff for cheaper. Somthing like this shouldn't cost that much.
(I especially like the one that says "keep the battles on the dance floor" but come on, what teenager can be spending 30 bucks on a t-shirt?)

Yesterday I went to the movies with this girl I like. We were flirting and I'm 99.9% sure that she likes me. We've hung out a few times before and I was wondering if I should just ask her out already, or hang out with her again...
okay i think you should ask her out because if she didn't like you she probably wouldn't have gone to the movies with you. trust me, girls can usually tell when a guy likes them. they just pretend not to know. she is most likely expecting you to ask her out. she might even be freaking out wondering why you haven't asked her yet! just go for it. the worst that could happen is she says no. but that doesn't mean you don't still have a chance of her liking you in a few days or weeks or whatever.

I'm 13 years old, almost 14. I weigh about 105 but I kind of want to lose weight. I am very lazy. I'm not really skinny but I'm not really fat. I feel like I need to do this and I want to. I eat alot! Thats one problem with me. I usually sit on the computer all day which is bad for me and I know that. I'm just very lazy. well you said you want to get rid of your stomach fat.. so make sure you do lots of sit ups! also just calling a friend and bike riding somewhere or just around your neighborhood is a good way to exercise without it really feeling like exercise. just getting out of the house is good. go to the pool.. swimming is great exercise! go play outside with your neighbors or friends. just getting out and going somewhere like the mall is good exercise. JUST GET AWAY FROM THAT COMPUTER!! haha. good luck!

as the person below me said, make sure you don't change who you are to try to get guys to notice you. what you can do though is speak up a little more. talk to guys you wouldn't normally talk to.. that gets their attention. just guys in your classes or whatever. also, maybe you could try getting a little more dressed up for school if you don't already. wear cute clothes and a little makeup if you don't already. when girls put a little effort into how they look it definetly makes guys notice them!

- 2 braids (i know it sounds childish but it actually looks really cute if you make them kinda loose and low)
- 1 braid (let it go to the side onto one of your shoulders)
- side pony tail
- put your hair in braids at night after you shower and sleep like that so your hair becomes wavy
- use scrunching gel to make your hair curly (i think the wella brand products work the best)

I like this guy, and we've hung out a few times in groups and a few times alone. We mostly talk about school stuff, but I thought we flirted more too. I finally got up the nerve to text him and ask what the deal was. He said that he had thought about it, but it would be really hard because we're both going away to school after the summer. I still like him, so should I still try to hang out with him or just forget it? I don't want to become too invested if it will just turn into nothing. help?
if you think you can handle having just a summer relationship.. then go for it. you guys can go out during the summer or hook up or whatever. but just know that when summer ends it will probably be too hard to continue the relationship. you just have to decide if you can handle that or not. and if he can handle it too. it doesnt seem like he wants to do that. but that shouldnt stop you guys from being friends and hanging out. maybe you could turn it into a 'thing' instead of a relationship.. ya know?

ughh, i want to remove it. but if i shave it, it's extremely painful and leaves cuts at where the hair was torn from the skinn. i don't want to wax because it sounds also painful. what aree the other options?

okay i had the same problem. the only other alternative is nair. and that didn't work for me. so i had to get a wax. it really doesn't hurt that badly.. i get it all taken off but you can just take off some of it or most of it. it only takes a few minutes and it's definetly worth it! if you don't want to do this then give shaving another shot. make sure you use lots of shaving cream and you have a good razor that isn't too dull or too sharp!

well there's like different types of things that people usually write:
BEST FRIENDS: i find that i usually take up like a page in their yearbook talking about all the fun memories that year, inside jokes, how much fun this summer is going to be, etc.
FRIENDS: talk about memories together, funny times, etc. basically the same as best friends except you probably have less to say haha
AQUAINTANCES: say you liked having _____ class with them, talk about something funny that happened. if you cant think of anything tell them they're nice or they have a great personality or something like that and then say you hope they have a great summer.
PEOPLE YOU DONT KNOW: hopefully, they won't ask you to sign their yearbooks. but if they do then just write have a great summer or have fun at college or whatever.

Our gym class is biking to an ice cream place and we have a uniform. Where could I put my money? I don't want to bring a purse or something because that will distract me and i'll probably crash.
Many girls stick it in their bras but I'm VERY flat chested; if I sticked a penny I think people would notice.

yes it would work if you stuck it in your shoes =]
you could also bring a small cute backpack kinda thing and put it on your back so it doesnt distract you. or you could tuck it in the waistband of your shorts/skirt (whatever your uniform is). you could put it in your bra but wear a little bit baggier of a shirt so you wouldnt be able to see the money. or you could even wear a sweatshirt. you could put the money in a ziplock bag and tape it to your bike or put it in the waterbottle holder on your bike (if your bike has one of those). i think putting it in your shoes is your best bet though =]

is there a way to um, make your butt bigger?
well i'm guessing you want to make it more muscular so it looks good.. not fat. so basically you need to do some workouts that target your butt. try kneeling down like a dog and lifting your legs out to the side while they're still bent. this really works your butt and will give you muscle.. which makes it look bigger. good luck!

don't wear TOO much makeup. it tends to make you look fake. maybe just like eyeliner, mascara, and then like lip gloss or something. wear something in style. or maybe since you're going to a fashion design school wear something you designed yourself! that would be really cool and show your skills!
alright so there is this guy that i like and he likes me. but for some reason i get really nervous around him. i dont know why. its easy for me to talk to guys i have many guy friends so i dont know why i cant with him. hes a great guy, hes really sweet and cool to be with. my friends tell me that he is nervous too and that he hasnt fully been himself around me yet. and when we talk on the phone sometimes it gets awkward. i really want this to work and i want to start becomeing comfortable around him. so how do i overcome the nervousness?

heyy yeah im the same age as you and i know exactly how you feel. it's like really hard to act the same with the guy you like as you do with your guy friends because you're concentrating on every SINGLE THING YOU DO. you probably don't want to mess it up. just think about how he ALREADY likes you and try to be yourself. maybe if you hang out with some of your guy friends with him it will help you loosen up a little. good luck!
I'm an underclassman and in the past couple of weeks, I realized I liked one of my senior friends. A couple days later I found out he liked me too and we talked about things. Prom is in 1 day and I want to go (I'd pay for my own admission), but I don't want to impose upon the guy. Is there a tactful way to ask?
P.S. I probably won't see him again after tomorrow because it's the last day of school and I take off for Europe the next day.
if he didn't ask you if you wanted to go i wouldn't push it. make sure you know he isn't going with another girl already if you're going to bring it up. maybe you could be like "are you going to prom?" and if he says no ask him why and let him know that you're interested in going with him.
Okay so my friends house burned down this morning. I'm still in shock. I really want to help her through this. She lost everything, except the clothes she's wearing and her cell phone. Now I know this should be common sense, but I need your help. I need to help her out and help her through this. I just dont know how to go about doing so. I'm going to ask her if she wants to spend the weekend at my house or if she wants to hangout. Also she's a huge Jonas Brothers fan so i'm giving her a bunch of mine. I'm just wondering what else I could do. Like obviously i'm going to be there for her if she needs to talk and all but what can I do and how do I go about doing it? Any advice is greatly appreciated. i know this might not sound very important.. but if you have any pictures of her those are always good. because it definetly sucks to lose all your pictures when your house burns down. because those are things you cant get back. she can always buy new clothes, furniture, etc. you can let her borrow some of your clothes for the meantime though. shes probably gonna stay with family or in a hotel but you can ask her if she would be more comfortable staying at your house.
Is there any harm of using Windex (or any kind of window/glass/whatever cleaner) on your teeth??
Not so much sparying it on, but putting it on my tooth brush and rubbing it in.

um im pretty sure windex is toxic.. so i wouldn't do that. ha. just stick to toothpaste. or buy crest whitestrips if you want to whiten your teeth. theres also certain kinds of 'whitening gum' i think they're trident. =)
