last-minute ticket to prom

Question Posted Tuesday June 3 2008, 8:38 pm

I'm an underclassman and in the past couple of weeks, I realized I liked one of my senior friends. A couple days later I found out he liked me too and we talked about things. Prom is in 1 day and I want to go (I'd pay for my own admission), but I don't want to impose upon the guy. Is there a tactful way to ask?

P.S. I probably won't see him again after tomorrow because it's the last day of school and I take off for Europe the next day.

in my opinon, you only live once, so take the chance while its there. live in the present moment, its not like its going to be there for ever, take the oppurtunity as you can.

if he didn't ask you if you wanted to go i wouldn't push it. make sure you know he isn't going with another girl already if you're going to bring it up. maybe you could be like "are you going to prom?" and if he says no ask him why and let him know that you're interested in going with him.
