16/f nervous
alright so there is this guy that i like and he likes me. but for some reason i get really nervous around him. i dont know why. its easy for me to talk to guys i have many guy friends so i dont know why i cant with him. hes a great guy, hes really sweet and cool to be with. my friends tell me that he is nervous too and that he hasnt fully been himself around me yet. and when we talk on the phone sometimes it gets awkward. i really want this to work and i want to start becomeing comfortable around him. so how do i overcome the nervousness?

why not flat out tell him how you feel i kno that it migh be akward at first but trust me honesty is the best thing that you can give to him especially in a situation like yours he will appreciate it and ask him to let you know how he feels. tell him you need the truth make him understand that all you want is for this to work and in order to do that you have to be able to get over the awkardness

heyy yeah im the same age as you and i know exactly how you feel. it's like really hard to act the same with the guy you like as you do with your guy friends because you're concentrating on every SINGLE THING YOU DO. you probably don't want to mess it up. just think about how he ALREADY likes you and try to be yourself. maybe if you hang out with some of your guy friends with him it will help you loosen up a little. good luck!
