you can only get HPV by having sex right?

no you can get it from toilet seats as people already said. you can also get it from oral sex. but yeah you should get the shot. it's called gardasil.

false. you can get it other ways, ie. a toliet seat. seriously. Get the shot if you can, which it won't always work but its still worth it, better more safe than more sorry.

Here is what I found on webmd

"These sexually-transmitted HPV viruses are spread through contact with infected genital skin, mucous membranes, or bodily fluids, and can be passed through intercourse and oral sex. HPV can infect skin not normally covered by a condom, so using a condom does not fully protect you from the virus."
