I feel really dumb for asking this, but its a question I need to ask someone.
I don't know how to dress my body. I'm not a style challanged, I actually get dragged along with people because I'm good at putting together outfits but I'm horrible at finding things for myself.
I'm 5'10" and about a size 7 in my waist. I have larger breasts, not huge, but too big for a button up shirt. I also have a rounder bottom and muscular thighs because I'm very active. I also have hips, so tight shirts look odd. People always tell me I should be a model because I'm tall, but I can't pull of clothes. I feel disgusted with my body because I always feel like I'm too large for clothes sold in the clothes I enjoy shopping at. I'm an individual, and I have charisma, and I'm tired of dressing in too big jeans and blah tshirts because I can't find anything else.
I just need styles of clothing, or stores that I could find clothes at for people who are shaped like me. Tiny waist, but curves, tall, muscular. I'm just so darn frustrated. Advice?
I do not suggest any place like Forever 21 or of the like.
Try this store, Express. I have a friend that sounds a bit like you, and she looks good in dresses, mainly the black cocktail kind, with a lowish v-neck line. Also, try skinny jeans and a bigger shirt. I am not quite sure, because I don't dress people, and I'm terrible with dressing myself, but it seems like it may work. Look through magazines! Magazines always put out an issue with a "how to suit your body" type of section. Good luck!

Ok long story semi-short. Im 18, shes 17. Dating this girl for 8 months. Around new years she started talking to her X of 3 months (her first "love") and i found out a few days after that she still loved him and she admited it to me. a few days after that she realized she made a mistake and told me she was crazy, that people were just getting in her head. i told her ok, i just need some time to think. that we needed a break so i could forget about it. i told her i would probably go out on a few dates with some1 just to vent out and get it outa my system. and she was fine with that, i mean she told me she loved some1 else... and also durin the break was her time to PROVE to me that there is NOONE else out there for her. no1 she wants. We talked every day on the break and i told her every day that i loved her, that this wouldnt take long, and it would be me and her again soon. So we get back together. get on her myspace 2 nights ago and find out she was fucking a 20 year old "friend" while we were on our break. i confronted her. she said shes been suicial about it, shes regreated it, shes disgusted with herself... non stop crying.

All you can do is be there for her as a friend first. When someone is feeling suicidal and regretful, you have to put their feelings first. Talk to her about it, and tell her that you're in a neutral position so that she has no pressure on her. Once things can work out, you can decide if it's going to stay romantic or not.

it's a really long story so i'll spare you the details... anywho, my dad's going through some legal stuff... it's been dragged on for 4 years now... the thing is that when i was little all my friends turned on me because of it... so now i have tons of trust issues and stuff like that... is there anyway to get over trust issues. and also my dad's sentencing hearing is soon, should i go? my sister isn't... and i don't know if i should miss school...
If you have an important role in the case, go. If not, don't go because it can cause you stress or other damage. As for trust issues, you just have to remember that people come and go. The thing to learn is that you can't miss out on good people because of what past people have done. You can only try, and if it doesn't work, that's okay. Trying and failing is better than not trying at all. Not trying at all will only keep you stuck.

ive known this guy in my english class since 6th grade and now were in 10th. i really avoided him since 8th grade b/c my best friend was seriously obsessed w/ him and i was sure he hated me. hes really shy and doesnt talk to anyone who isnt his friend. and last year he liked one of my really pretty friends but she shot him down. anyways, about 2 months ago he turned around in english and started talking to me. just out of nowhere started talking. since then, everyday in english he comes in and we talk forever. my friend that shot him down sits right behind me and he doesnt even talk to her. he only talks to me and his best friend who sits behind him. ive started liking him ALOT, and its driving me crazy! My cousin is an overseas national currently studying the final year of high school in Australia. Her mother has recently moved to the USA and wants my cousin to study a bachelor's degree in California, to be closer to their new home.
All the way on the other side of the globe, my cousin and I think that my cousin will have to apply for US universities with her secondary qualifications in Australia, which means as an international student, right? Yet she would really be a permanent resident in status. Is there any disadvantage being treated as an international student?
Also, regarding degrees:
- how expensive? Are degrees typically subsidised by the government, and if so, by how much?
- how long does the application process to a university take? (e.g. the maximum length of time?)
-how viable is it to have relevant classes done in an Australian university count towards an equivalent degree in an American university?
I realise there are a lot of questions and that they're all very broad, but even generalities will help at this stage, as we have little idea of how the American education system works. Even links explaining clearly how the system works would be wonderful.
Well, I had a friend that went to high school here and actually traveled to Australia during the middle of the school year. I believe she was in the Austrailian school for a month or so. As far as I know, she didn't have much trouble. I'm not too sure about American university rules though.

My boyfriend & I had sex unprotected. We didn't use a condom because he said he can control himself and it was only for a few minutes so that it wouldn't happen. I just got off my period the day before.. is there any chance of me getting pregnant? I also heard somewhere that smoking weed affects sperm count or whatever.. and he does weed & drinks. Well, obviouslty there is a chance. The best thing to do is wait and hope that you'll get your next period. If you know that he didn't ejaculate in your vagina, or anywhere around it, you're most likely safer.

The best advice I can give you is to practice by stretching everyday and working on it everyday. The more flexible you are, the easier it will be to learn it. I'm sure you already know that though. :)

Yeah, the best thing is to consult your doctor. 1 in 3 people have miscarriages their first time around, and they're actually quite common. I know it's painful not only physically, but talk to your doctor and make sure everything is okay, or how he can help you if it's not.

You'll regret it. It doesn't matter if your mom or his dad doesn't care, it matters that you've only been going out with this guy for a week. You need to know this guy on a more personal level, and make sure that you won't feel like you regretted losing your virginity to someone that wasn't worth it.

Too much thinking can definitely cause restlessness.
I don't think it's a sleep disorder, it's just too much on your mind that needs to be released.
Sleeping pills work okay, but sometimes they take long.
They're also good because they don't need a prescription, but just make sure not to use them too frequently or you'll become dependent.

well I dont actually know if i have ocd or not
i have wierd little obsessions and if i dont fulfill them i feel sick and really paranoid.
I have to clean tables perfectly and arrange everything on them do its up against a wall or the back edge
I have to unplug absolutely everything before i got out or got to bed or even leave the room
I when i give someone a ' high five!' ii have to do it twice so its equals exactly ten
When i write things in my diary i have to write things in exactly ten repetative steps..
I have to write exactly 10 kisses in my diary .
And if i see a plug socket where there is nothing plugged in although the switch is on , i cant stand it and HAVE to turn it off..
Once i put the phone down i have to push it ten times to make sure ive put it down correctly..
Please help, my friends have pointed out on it and i dontknow whether i do actullay have ocd..

Every 1/3 people have mild OCD, I learned from a friend that got checked up for OCD. Just go to the doctor and ask, it's pretty simple. Just tell them you're a little concerned with your own habits.

This boy & I are best friends, but recently when he IM's me/calls me we don't have much to talk about. So, for 3 days I didn't get on AIM/answer my phone..sort of avoiding him, so we'd have stuff to talk about when I got on AIM/he called me.
Well yesterday I signed on AIM, and he usually instanly talks to me, but he didn't. So I waited a bit, then put up an away msg. I was kind of hurt, I won't lie, that he wasn't lonely without me hah. Well later on that night my away msg said something like, "F you I'm still riding the bus, just because you're riding it & I'm trying to avoid you doesn't mean I shouldn't ride it." So, after reading that he IMs me, like, "Who are you ignoring?" And I was like "You." and signed off, and he called but I didn't answer. We're not going out, I just get extremely jealous of these other two girls he talks to on Aim, and whenever he's not talking to me, I feel like something's wrong with me, like I'm ugly or something.
