what is the chance..?

Question Posted Sunday January 21 2007, 12:38 pm

My boyfriend & I had sex unprotected. We didn't use a condom because he said he can control himself and it was only for a few minutes so that it wouldn't happen. I just got off my period the day before.. is there any chance of me getting pregnant? I also heard somewhere that smoking weed affects sperm count or whatever.. and he does weed & drinks. Does that lower the chance any? I'm not wanting to get pregnant by the way, I'm just wondering so I can know if I will or not. Thanks.

Well, obviouslty there is a chance. The best thing to do is wait and hope that you'll get your next period. If you know that he didn't ejaculate in your vagina, or anywhere around it, you're most likely safer.

yes there is a chance that you can get pregnant. If you have sex without a condom thats pretty much an invitation to get pregnant. No one on this site can tell you if your are actually pregnant. For you to find out for sure you would have to take a pregnancy.

hope everything works out for you.
good luck

Drinking and smoking weed decreases your chances by a little. But even if he didn't come, there's still a slight chance of sperm being on his pre-cum. Its unlikely but there's still a chance and it's possible that you might get pregnant but rare.

yes, all the things you mentioned lower the chances. slightly. there is always a chance of you getting pregnant from having sex. no matter what. if you are really worried, and its been less than 5 days (preferably less than 3), and you are not morally opposed to this sort of thing, go down to your local planned parenthood and talk to them. they can hook you up with a Plan B pill. I would recomend going down there to talk to them either way, they will provide with all sorts of information, including stuff like "never trust a guy when he says he can control himself" here is a site that will help you find a planned parenthood near you.
