One thing I have noticed that really seems to be working is those YouTube videos where people cover songs by their fave artists, then the artist goes to meet them, blah blah. Works best if you have a much younger sibling and they cover the song, then the world goes like "aw, cute!" - next thing you know, it's all over Facebook and Biebz is knocking on your front door. Celebrities do not expose their personal information to the public - that's one thing that makes them celebrities. Also, some teen magazines offer contests and such and the prize would be to meet a certain star. If you want to meet your idol, you will need to work hard for it. :) Best of luck, you can do it.

hm, well i've been hurt by manslags and guys who act like dicks but never really heartbroken although i've felt it. I started texting this guy he wasn' anything special but seemed sweet and i didn't think he'd hurt me. at first he was sacry but sweet. but recently he hasn't been texting me as much and is sarcy and mean. he avoids being sweet anymore and i feel like im desperate because i have very low self confidence. saying that I can do better but ive turned a few guys down and i haven't had a bf in 2 years which makes me look pathetic. but i really like this guy although we didn't talk much at school, I say hi and if i explain a bit of how i feel he says im gullable and he wants to text me. But he winds me up smokes weed and isn't the best looking. im starting to get over him but thats not what I want. I told him i liked him ages ago, but he thought i didn't like him anymore, i don't know if hes stopped texting becaus hes not interested or what. but he probably isn't i just cba with relationships :'( (link)

Being single for 2 years doesn't make you pathetic. Smoking weed and being apathetic towards an awesome girl makes someone pathetic, a.k.a. the dude in your story. It's not easy for everyone to move on and forget about a person overnight. It will take time, but from what I'm reading, he's not giving you the care and attention you deserve. I don't know what's going on in his head but it looks like it's best to give him his space and see if he texts or not. If he does, okay awesome, let's see what happens next. If he doesn't, well, his loss. You wanted to be there for him and he blew it away completely. You've done nothing wrong, you're an awesome person.

So I started work about a month ago at a day care making 7.40 an hour well I work through the county and they are one pay period behind which means it will take four weeks to get paid instead of two however it only has one pay period on the first check and I will get one check after I stop working. Well my boss lost my payment information and needed to see my documents again to verify I am legal and I had to fill it out again however this was after I had been working for two weeks and I am curious if this means I will get paid the twentieth instead of the fifth now?
I thought I'd get paid the twentieth but yesterday I received my accela pay card in the mail. However their is no money on it yet but I am anxious to know if it is going to appear this next week or if I will have to wait an extra pay period. Help please (: (link)

It must be hard for you, to have your friend leave. What you *can* do is give him your address/email/phone number/anything so he can get in touch with you as soon as he's settled down. If you guys are really really close, express to him that it hurts you to see him move away but you'd very much like to keep in contact regardless of the distance. Make it a point to let him know how meaningful it so it won't appear to be so stalk-ish. I hope I helped, dear.

I think that's a little gesture in your friendship that he values for some reason and he uses it to remind you how much the friendship means to him. Some people are just *very* touchy - regardless of gender, sex, age, etc. etc. etc. and he could fall into that category. As long as you acknowledge that it's friendship and only friendship (with no benefits), I think it will stay good and smooth for a long time.

I have already pretty much decided which classes I'm going to take next year (I'll be a junior), but I just can't get over that guilty feeling of not deciding to take Spanish 2 next year. I'm currently taking Spanish 1, but I've decided not to next year. Instead, I've decided to take psychology one semester, and sociology the other semester. The thing is, I'm not sure whether or not it would be the best choice. I know that have 2 years of a foreign language is recommended, and is also good for colleges and for getting jobs. It's just something I don't want to do that. It just makes me mad thinking that I HAVE to do this or that to please colleges and stuff. I want to do whatever I am interested in, but I can't even speak my own language, so I can't help to think that Spanish would be good for me. If I don't take Spanish 2, I also think about things like what if I'm not offered very many opportunities, even with good grades and everything? What are your guys' opinions? (link)

Hey,
First, think about what you want to study at university once you graduate from high school. If you plan on working, think about what job you'd like to have.
Second, look into the university program's requirements: If you're going more toward the sciences, have a strong science background. Same with the arts. Business. Etc. (The same applies to work). Keep in mind that university requirements are different in every country, especially abroad.
Third, if I were you I'd speak with the school's counselor that deals with all the post-high-school stuff. She will have a ton of information about what you're asking.

k so i sing and do musicals and solos and stuff like tat to get over stage fright (because i love singing!) i thought it was working i mean singing in front of people wasnt my absoulte worst nightmare any more.. audtions hadnt come up in awhile so i didnt sing infront of people as much.. then an audtion came up and i tried out and ALL my stage fright came flooding back! i blushed squeked forgot my words and even had to do 2 takes on my song! wat happened?? how can i get over this for good? cause i really love singing but fear holds me back..any tips advice people??? I can see where you're coming from. There will be that slight fear at the start of any performance on stage in front of people - even professional musicians will tell you that sometimes. I like to think it's because you're placed on a higher level than everyone else (stage), the spotlight is on YOU and all eyes are on YOU - therefore, the rush starts and your mind immediately goes there and you start to realize all that instead of doing your performance. What I always did was to think that I owned that stage - to look into people's eyes sitting in the audience and play my guitar/sing/move. It's your superstar moment for a certain amount of time so keep in mind to have a great time with it. Those people are there to listen to you and have a good time, so give them the best time of their lives and sing your heart out because that's what you love to do. Eye contact - smile - move. =)

I was wondering how you'd keep your vagina clean. It is recommended to leave your vagine alone - it cleans itself, that's how that organ is designed. If you *insist* on working on the smell (we all have it, it's natural and very human), you could use those special wipes designed to be used "down there" or special shower gels and so on. You won't be dirty down there as long as you wash daily and wipe and you know the rest. Just don't try to clean the "inside", you may do more damage than good that way...

ok so long story short, i really like my bestfriend. I've never met anyone more like me in my life and we both thinks its the most amazing thing. Im so lucky to have found him and im really falling for him. Anyway, two weeks ago i was nervous and hopeless about a future together with him, thinking that he couldnt possibly have the same feelings for me as i did him. Anyway, i got an unexpected phone call from a mutual friend of ours telling me that i dont need to worry and to stop stressing. i asked her why and she told me not to say anything, but that my best friend likes me alot and thinks im insanely beautiful. Hes came out of a horrible break up after 5 years 6 months ago, and says he wants to be a single for a little bit longer. But he does like me alot and wants to be with me when hes not so terrified of relationships. he also told her that if i ended up dating anyone else that he would be extremely upset and know that it 'wasnt meant to be'. but to be honest i dont want anyone else but him, and im willing to wait till hes ready. Again i have to pretend i dont know any of this, as he told her that he wants to tell me personally, but she knew how upset i was going and had to.
so anyway that was a couple of weeks ago that i found out about that, and since then we havent been able to see each other due to his band being on tour. It wasnt till yesterday i started doubting his feelings for me again, as he didnt really text me or anything much, but when he did he would say some really sweet things. anyway yesterday he texted me (coming as a complete surprise cause he barely texts me ahhah) and told me "listen to invincible by tonight alive. then text me back, i will say no more"
so i listened to the song and immeadiatly began to cry.

Hi, i am 21 years old with 1 child and currently 27 weeks pregnant i been continuesly sleeping with my partner before i concieved, however one time and only "once" i had a encounter with another man he ejaculated in his hand then touched me "down there" i quickly moved away as he did. My current boyfriend asked me out about 2 months ago, but the furthest we went was a hug. I know it would probably be more than that if we didn't see each other only once a month. But we always see movies together and hug before we leavem and we always stare into each others eyes but it never went to the point where we almost kiss. Except the last time we were at the movies he asked me a question and I leaned in to hear what he said and i replyed ofcourse but our faces were so close together, and we almost did it we almost kissed untill i kind of leaned back. I'm kind of young. But today, my grandma and I went to Walgreens for a little shopping spree.
I was walking and I noticed this guy watching me, and every time I'd turn to meet his gaze, he'd grin and turn away. I thought it was cute how he was so shy. I'd catch him looking at me, and he kept telling me which magazines were the best to read. He worked at the photoshop place and refilled the milk in the fridge/freezer section when I commented to myself that there was no milk left. And yes, I do know it's his job to be a good worker to the customer, but I had this feeling. Usually I get all fuzzy and warm inside when I have the "crush" feeling.
When I went in line, there was a short line, with only one person. And just as the register was about to serve me, the guy at the photoshop counter announced on the intercom that his register was open. I smiled because I knew he'd felt accomplished by getting me closer to him. He told me how pretty I was and scanned my items. We talked about the beach for a good five minutes and he wished me a good night.
Now, sure, I usually have quick crushes that come and go, but this is a new thing. I feel like I should've given him my number or something....but I have no idea how old he is... ugh.

I recommend pilates -- it does wonders, it truly works like magic. But you have to stick to it and dedicate about half an hour each day or so to exercising. It tones your entire body. I do pilates and I love it. Remember to combine it with a healthy diet, of course.
