Confused with a guy friend!

Question Posted Monday February 27 2017, 2:13 pm

Hi, why do friend invite you for a dinner and meet his girlfriend and kids if you feel like he had liked you? Been friends for a while. Teasing back and forth. Compliments me everytime we see each other. We're to go for a dinner as normal friends does but he had to cancel and instead invited me for a dinner at his place so that I can meet his family. What the heck?! Help please?!

Sounds like while he wants to be friends but is making it real clear he has a family.

It could be he was having feelings toward you that made him uncomfortable & he didn't want to take a risk of messing up his family. It happens.

It could also be that he felt you might take a dinner alone with him the wrong way.

Either way it seems he is trying to say his priority is his girlfriend & kids. He is being honest with you without coming right out and saying it.
