I'm being stalked...

Question Posted Thursday September 15 2016, 12:57 pm

I'm in 7th grade, and my boyfriend and I are being seriously stalked. A girl (the stalker) has a major crush on my boyfriend and therefore stalks both of us. My bf's personal login information is her password for a website, she knows where we live, and she kniws all of my family. She confronted my bf and said she was "sorry about your dad", who had died two years ago. He NEVER told her. She also knows that I am distantly related to one of the teachers, whic I didn't even know. I thought she was lying at first, but then realized that the teacher and my uncle had the same last name (not my last name). She also knows our complete schedules and follows us in the halls. What should I do??

Both of you need to tell her to back off. Make sure she understands you are NOT kidding. I would also make sure the boyfreind & you do this together so there is no confusion. Maybe he isn't making himself clear to her. I mean, it can be a boost to the ego to have someone think you are worth following around.

I'm going to suggest you talk to your parents about this, or a teacher. There is a difference between a "stalker" that means to do you harm, and a school girl with a crush. School kids just know things about each other. I don't know if that is anything to worry about. To be safe, talk to an adult you trust about this so they can help you.

Maybe your bf and you should try talking to her together and explain how you feel?. Its possible she doesn't know how weird everything shes doing is coming across, some people don't have that ability. If that doesn't work I would talk to someone at school or your parents just to keep yourself safe.
