asking for a girl's number
12 year old female. There's this girl in my classes (7th grade) who is really cute and nice. I met her this year and we've become friends. I recently started following her on Instagram and she has a picture of her kissing two friends. It's a very edgy photo, one of her friends is in a questionable position. Someone commented that it's a lot like her in the bathroom with *insert the girl's name here*. I sent her a DM asking spam for spam, I figured that could start a conversation. I figured that one of these days I'd post a tbh so she might like it and I could Dm her something (not confessing my crush) and leave heart emojis at the end. Perhaps she'd say something back. But if I want her to like it quickly before I have to "tbh" a bunch of other girls and it'll seem meaningless (granted I'm going to do this over DM) but that will seem suspicious. I am not sure how I should ask for her number. Any ideas?

If you really want her attention ask hrr in person. Yes i know its scary! But it will show her that your interested. (I gave a boy my number.. scary thing! But it turned out positive :) )
Tell her you would like to go for coffee or activity that you both would enjoy.
