This summer I wanted to get a job. I applied for an internship and I just sensed (tingly feeling in stomach)that I would be considered for the position and I was. I thought this job would be the best fit for me. After I applied for the job I overlook how long it was. The job ends in September and I start school in August. I realized that I may not get this job because it is far from the school I attended and the commute is far. I really thought it was a great opportunity for me but was I wrong. When I inform the company that I could not commute, I was no longer considered for the position. I feel completely okay and calm about the situation. But, was my gut feeling wrong. Because I thought this company represented what I wanted but I am unable to get it because of school.
I'm glad to hear that you were pretty much at peace with the outcome thus far.
You weren't wrong but then again it's all about what You want in the end. You went with your gut feeling and that was to go with your education.
You never know what the outcome of things will be. The internship could have been a good thing for you, but then again you never know. School may be better for your future.
Now that you have made your decision just focus on school and work hard to get to where you want to go!
Like I said, you cannot go wrong with school. So many people mention how they wish they could go back to school, or to have continued with their education rather than whatever else seemed like a great option at the time.
