My crush is confusing the crap out of me
So I have this huge crush on a boy btw I'm in middle school 7th grade and I don't know if he likes me back, I always catch him staring at me and when I do he quickly turns. Sometimes he doesn't and just keeps staring at me for like 10 seconds, we have everything In common he plays basketball. So do I, we always talk about the things, sometimes he starts it and when it ends he likes to go like "oh wait did u hear what happened", he always tries to make me laugh, he sometimes makes sure if I laughed or not, he even likes to play with my hair and poke me, and once he asked Me if I was single, but what really confuses me is that he likes to make fun of me I front oh his friends, like make fun of my name, but when we're alone he just calls me by my normal name, so does he like me?

He clearly likes you. He's just being a basic middle school boy, and one of those people that acts differently around their friends, and when you're one-on-one. Which I personally don't care for, but I'm sure there are some people that don't mind as much. Majorly, when you're younger, you be mean to the person you like. Why? IT'S BEYOND ME. I never understood it, but that's just the way it is. Messing around is fine, but being straight up rude is just stupid. Anyway, I definitely think he likes you.
