Question Posted Thursday February 19 2015, 5:42 pm
I want to start a YouTube channel. My YouTube channel will probably be like fashion, diy, tags, etc. I don't wear makeup so there won't be any makeup tutorials. Anyways, my question is: what should my first video be? It would also be nice if you could give me more tips on starting a YouTube channel. Thank you! 😊
Basically, when you’re looking for tips on how to become a YouTuber who earns money, you’re looking for tips on how to become a YouTube influencer and influencers usually have a niche. Whether it’s fashion, beauty, lifestyle, healthy living, or just being yourself, you need to make clear right from the start what your channel and your personal brand are all about.
Plan Your Content
Before even creating your YouTube channel, you’ve probably already decided on the kind of video content that you want to show. The best ways to increase your views and gain followers is still to keep your content interesting and engaging; the more people can relate to it, the more they’ll want to click on it and watch until the end.
Optimize Your Videos
Another secret to giving your videos more visibility is to optimize your content to help it rank on YouTube. As soon as you upload your first video, give it a good, descriptive title that viewers are likely to write on the search bar—and make sure to include your main keyword or key phrase. Also, make sure to use relevant tags that will help put your video under multiple related categories.
Build Your Network
While not necessarily categorized as a social networking site, YouTube is all about connecting, sharing, and collaborating with other users. Thus, to be successful, you need to make an effort to build your network. This is particularly critical in the YouTube community, as collaborations among creators have proven effective in helping a channel grow, increase visibility and gain new subscribers because it helps both collaborators gain exposure with the other’s subscriber base.
Get More Subscribers
Your subscriber count is pretty darn important, particularly if growing YouTube channel is your target. The more subscribers you'll get, the more rapidly your channel will grow. You can buy subscribers from Instantviews.co ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) to cut some time.
Upload Videos Regularly
Another important tip is to be consistent with your uploads. No matter how imperfect you think your content is, it’s important that you keep getting your videos out there, Some YouTube channel owners publish videos once or twice a week and they let their viewers know about this schedule (usually at the end of each video) so viewers know when to check back. This gives a channel a bigger chance of getting a steady flow of views, especially once it gains a number of active subscribers.
Invest in your recording equipment
If you mean business, you’re going have to up the quality of your videos, and that means upping your expense too. If you want to match the top channels in your niche, you’ll have to get the right camera. Equipment is important, but only the perfect devices are not enough to make interesting videos. Even the top YouTubers take advantage of tools for editing raw video footage. This is a good way to activate your creative potential.
Grow YouTube Channel With Ads
Using Organic growth for your YouTube channel is great but adding a bit of paid promotion can speed things up a bit. Creating a YouTube ad campaign helps to drive viewers and subscribers to your page. Create an ad within your budget, like only paying when someone watches your video ad or clicks on your link. Your first video should probably be about what your channel is going to be filled with. I've made remixes of soundtracks from video games and to this day, it's gotten me to 2K subscribers who love the content. Granted, I don't post much anymore. But I am hoping to start up again. Good luck! Let me know if I helped in any way. [ eatshitdie's advice column | Ask eatshitdie A Question ]
