Not sure I understand exactly what you are asking. Your question isnt exactly clear.
He used to like you? But doesnt any more?
And you are thinking if you kissed that would renew his interest?
OR I could take it to mean that he showed an interest in you, liking you, but once you guys starting dating and had a relationship, his interest went away?
If its any of those scenerios, then you may both not be the best match. It is fairly common to find someone interesting and appealling on a surface level but once we start dating and spend more time with, we find that we dont feel the same or have enough in common to continue the relationship. You can talk and find out if this is how he is feeling and if so, let him go. Trying to make him kiss you wont change a thing. Some people have chemistry together and others dont and theres no way to make chemistry happen.
If he is just shy and you both are still in a dating relationship, I guess its up to you to make the first move and kiss him. Next time the impulse hits, just kiss him.
