No, that is vaginal lubrication, which is a good thing, you would not want to be dry. Lubrication happens during sexual arousal and stimulation.
When you orgasm, you will know it. It is a very powerful feeling, and when it happens you will not need to question if that is what happened.
Personally I find that penetration makes it harder to reach orgasm, so if you're having trouble, perhaps you should focus more on clitoral/labial stimulation instead, and don't try to rush yourself. Do whatever feels good and keep doing it with patience.
