Last minute vacation deals So, I got two weeks leave with very little notice and I want to take my family on a trip, but everything is so expensive at the last moment. :( Any suggestions on how to make a happy family trip memory without going in debt for life?
Thank you all!

This is a tough question to answer for someone you don't know and do not know their finances. For instance if it is affordable, last minute deals on cruises can be heavily discounted depending on how many cabins the ship has available. Cruise lines hope to break even on the cabin rentals and look to make their profit off the sale of alcohol and items sold onboard the gifts shops.
Road trips can be very nice, affordable and back door educational by visiting National parks. If you can find a mobile home to rent campgrounds are inexpensive and a great way for family's to relax and reconnect.
These are the best that I can think of without knowing more about your families likes, dislikes and financial abilities. ]
Well, it depends on where you are in the country and what your family likes to do, but if it were up to me I would take advantage of local parks and landmarks, go sightseeing, hiking, or camping right at home. Lots of people go their whole lives without even knowing what cool stuff is right in their own hometowns. If you do some basic research, I'm sure you could come up with lots of interesting and cheap activities for the whole family. Hope this helps and good luck on vacation! :) ]
