"Cam unlocked"?

Question Posted Sunday January 12 2014, 1:24 pm

I got taken to a link to a website that had a "[number] cams unlocked" thing. Well I researched more about it and I guess it's a scam thing where it unlocks your PC camera? Well here's the thing.. I was on mobile. Did it still unlock my camera? I'm scared that it did. Help ASAP please

I had something like this and yes if it is unlocking your camera without your permission it is a scam. I'm no tech expert, so maybe google it more for further information. My only recommendation is put some duct tape or something over the camera- my scam took a picture of my sister who was watching a music video at the time and accused her of watching porn! Pretty weird. The site wouldn't go away at all and I had to reboot my computer. I also read about a girl who was being watched through her webcam- sooo watch out. That kind of sneaky hacking skills are out there.
