If you send a question directly to my inbox, I'll get it as a private question. It will appear in my advice column after I've answered it, but the only way someone will see that is if they look in my column directly.

It sucks when someone calls you a liar. Not being believed is frustrating and can make you feel helpless. The big question is, why are you not being believed? Is there a history of untruthfulness? If that's the case, then it can take time for people to regain trust.

If it's just because the person doesn't feel like believing you, then there's no mature way to "make someone pay" for calling you a liar. The only thing you can really do is hold your head high, knowing that you've done the right thing. If other people don't want to believe you, that's their problem. No mouth-smacking required.
