Becoming a female boxer..? Hi I'm in high school and I want to be a boxer with all my heart. My mom isn't too fond of the idea and neither is my dad but he said he will support me. I do have a punching bag but I don't have any boxing gloves but I might be getting some for Christmas. I'm not very strong but I am tough and I'm willing to work. I've watch Muhammad Ali and man I think how amazing it must feel to be a legend and I know it will be lots of work but I think I can handle it and I just need some ideas on how to become an amazing boxer..like workout routine? Diet? Attitude? Hygiene? Thanks in advance..and advice is much appreciated. (:

Prove to your parents it was a good thing- even if it does mean you lose a tooth from some bitch in the ring. Best attitude to have is to pick yourself up after a loss and go straight back in for the attack to win!
Eat loads of protein- and do exercise to keep muscles lean and strong.
The legend goes that most boxers train by skipping, to keep them quick on their feet.
