i don't know if she likes me or not
hi i like a girl i'm in 8th grade people say this girl likes me but she says she likes me as a friend but occasionally i hear her say that i'm cute i just don't know what to do

Girls are so confusing . But so are boys too . You need to tell her how you feel STRAIGHT FORWARD and dont wuss out ! what have you got to lose ? Time is Ticking and you have to make your first move instead of waiting around for nothing . Talk to her and confess your feelings . if she rejects you be a man an ACCEPT it . your still young and there are so many other opportunities . if she REALLY liked you , she would accept you and your flaws :] im goin through the same thing , only im a girl . and yes im telling you to risk it . if you want something you have to make risks ok :]

You can't go off of what people say. But if you hear her say that she likes you as a friend but also thinks you're cute, then that's the best thing to go off of.
I'd suggest talking to her some more, getting to know her, becoming a closer friend and you'll be able to tell if she has feelings for you or not.
If you want to know sooner, your could probably get some friends together, have a group outing and invite her along, then see if she comes along or her reactions.
