Is he still attracted to me?
so there is this guy who I have had a lot of eye contact with twice we even locked eyes for quite a while and suddenly, he started to avoid eye contact with me
It's like when I look at him, he wouldn't look at me anymore.
Could this be because he lost interest in me?

It depends if he's shy or not. If he's shy: he likes you. If he's not shy: He has lost interest.
Though eye contact is a common feature of human interaction. Twice?! I think you may have blown this out of proportion.
There are many other signs-it may not be what you want to hear but thats because we come to conclusion quickly when we like someone because are emotions govern decision making.Anything he does, you'll think its because he may like you.
Having said that, you need to look for other possible signs. But don't let it consume you, and don't get to hung up on it. Us girls have intuition, a kind of sixth sense. If you sense he likes you, he probably does.
