The two school you mentioned are two of the best schools in the country. They also have the smallest acceptance for enrolment.

Given the fact that you are 14 and most likely just starting high school I am going to suggest the following something you can start to do this summer.

You say you live in New York, hopefully close enough to the city that you can take advantage of the pre-college programs both schools offer. At 14 you are in the middle of the age groups for the admission to the program. The program is a full day on Saturday and runs from September to May.

If you do not live close enough then they can advise you of what courses to take in high school or what programs near you that will prepare you for entrance to their schools. So give them a call.

I'm not sure if you can still make this falls admission or not. Though nothing ventured nothing gained. While talking to them you can find out about other schools who may caterer more to exactly what you're looking for. You can also find out when to apply for next falls admission to the pre-college program.

If these two schools are the schools you really want then trying to get into the pre-college program is something you must try. I would think they would first choose from those students coming from their pre-college program that have demonstrated the needed qualifications for enrolment in their college program.

Just put the two school names into a search engine and you will get returned all the information you need to contact the school. I used yahoo to find them.
